8MY first time impression: Clean somewhat friendly. I was able to find what I was looking for. I think I will visit again.
They had a "sale" and it came out different price, I asked the manager she verified and it was the sale price but she said that they hadn't change the sale price on the paper so they still sold it for the regular price. They need to go with the sales and not give a FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!
Hot food bar portions & portions are very good and generous. However they need to season their food a bit more, it seemed a little to blaaa for my experience in other similar places.
I come here for ethnic seasonings and flavors at competitive pricing. Although I am not Caribbean, I enjoy preparing dishes like Curry Chicken and Curry Shrimp. Today I am going to attempt to make Jerk Chicken, (not on charcoal grill though), and see how it comes out. For the Curry they have a brand that I was introduced to called Chief from Trinidad that has a very tasty Curry blend. I also can find Green Seasonings and the such. Their beer selection and prices are good and the management and cashier's are all very pleasant. Next time I will try their Whole Red Snapper. It will be my first fresh fish purchase.
Why is this Latin place more expensive than the south Tampa Winn Dixie on identical products? Some lines are not common but. Odd to see same items a couple of dollars higher
Good, I found many Colombian products and also have from other South American places, good service, groceries and meet, also prepared food with South American flavors if you want to take out, they accept cash and credit/debit cards.good location in Tampa and large parking lot, near Wells Fargo bank and another good stores.
While I was in line to pay for my grocery, the lady in front of me went to pay for all her groceries.the cashier waited until she put all of her groceries out and as she went to pay she then told her we don't accept WIC. But they had WIC approved signs all over the place but they didn't have a big enough sign to let the customers know that they are not accepting WIC at this time. The excuse was sorry under new management!
