Restaurant Bread Pete reviews
19Amazing European bakery that has become my go-to place for a delightful morning treat whenever I am in Cape Coral. This bakery offers delicious coffee, breakfast menu and an assortment of mouthwatering pastries that will transport you to pastry heaven! Make sure you'll go early in the morning!
From my understanding it is under new ownership. With that said, you can definitely tell the difference. They revamped the inside so it looks much cleaner/nicer. The pastry options are still the same but definitely can taste the difference.
A local gem for quick eats and great baked treats for any occasion. Don’t miss out on their loaf of bread that they can slice for you in store!

Need to apologise for my mistake this morning with the cashier, I was convinced I had given three 20 dollars when I went back to my Airbnb to check my money I was the one in the wrong
The bread rolls and pastries are delicious and all the staff very friendly and professional,
I will return on my next visit,
Eine Deutsche Bäckerei in Cape Coral.
Da gibt es natürlich Laugengebäck in allen Variationen und sehr gutes Brot.
New owners and it is being renovated looking forward how it will change. We bought bakery items but they did not have pretzel. We loved what we bought. Staff are friendly
Lovely breakfast cafe! Service was warm and attentive and the food and pastries were absolutely delicious!
Not To-Go friendly for breakfast. Stopped in to grab a quick breakfast with my fiance, she wanted a pretzel and croissant but when I asked about ordering a breakfast sandwich they stated they only do that if we're sitting at a table - which at the time there were no tables available so we couldn't order a breakfast sandwich to go. I've eaten here a couple of times in the past and recall the food being decent so I'm sure the foods great if you're eating in - just not the place if you want a quick breakfast sandwich on the move!
Our Airbnb suggested this bakery. It was a drive down Del Prado, but well worth it. We found assorted croissants (all delicious) and the best bread in the world! Make a trip to Bread Pete, you won’t be disappointed.
Great park, good food, rest rooms were clean and plenty of parking very close. Covered seating for players families was a plus:
New owners! Time will tell, as usual selection of pastries dwindles fast during most mornings, slow to refill, all items are bakery fresh and tasty, coffee is diner quality nothing to rave about, they make (made) a solid breakfast. Hoping for the best.
Great Service and delicious special food and fair prices. Lets see how it goes after ownerchange again
Nice Cozy Friendly Breakfast and Lunch Spot.good fair prices.clean as a whistle too.glad I stopped in.
Pete is wonderful, as well as his staff. They execute delicious fresh baked items, delicious breakfast and lunch. Always a pleasure! One of the busiest places in Cape, keep it up mein Freund! (:
Long time customer.ordered 3 to 5 time egg sandwiches office. Was told I ordered croissants. Not true. Was told don't be a customer anymore if you are not happy.can I post a negative review or is that redundant
Great place if you're up for some German style bread. Loved the pretzel buns. And the almond and chocolate croissants are really good.
Fantastic authentic German cuisine. The bratwurst with sauerkraut was amazing. I recommend the spicy mustard with it. The staff were so kind, caring, and attentive. They made us feel truly welcome. I highly recommend Bread Pete!
I share a secret with you…. The Germans love pastry more than the French! Get the apple pastry, really get two or more because they are so delicious you might weep if you only get one. Everything is as flaky, crispy, crunchy, delicious as a fairy tale. I’ll tell you another secret…they roast and grind there own coffee on premise, its like a hot mug of heaven. Skip Dunkin, go to Pete’s.
