Brenda McMahon Art Gallery, Gulfport FL

We were visiting Gulfport over the winter and met Brenda in her store. We bought 1 piece that was hanging on her wall, but she also custom designing another piece for us. It took a number of weeks to complete but she kept in touch throughout the entire design phase, sent us pictures of her progress and offered ideas and suggestions along the way. Since we don't live in Florida, she shipped it to us. We couldn't have been happier with the outcome. She's truly a master at what she does. We already bought another piece from her and I'm sure we'll be back for more. Here's a picture of Bird of Paradise which is the 1 she made for us.

After purchasing some smaller ceramic tile works from Brenda, over the last 3 years, we decided to commission a much more complicated panel. We wanted something brighter and large enough to put in the entrance foyer of our home.

I wondered how this collaboration would work over 1200 miles away in Michigan, but is was surprisingly easy and effective. We did the initial planning and sketching in the Gulfport studio. Once we arrived back home in Michigan, Brenda would electronically send us a sketch that we could comment on and make sure we liked the colors, patterns, and stone options. It took 3-4 cycles, over a month, before we had a final design ready for production.

We were delighted with the process and the final product! It hung in the gallery for 3 months before we could travel down to FL and pick it up. We received many complements and several visitors offed to buy it.

You can always by something “as is” but it was a wonderful experience to custom design and have something built specifically for our home. We would definitely consider doing a second custom ceramic panel.

The BRENDA McMAHON GALLERY in charming downtown Gulfport is a must see destination on Beach Boulevard. Brenda is currently at work on a custom ceramic house number which I am excited to see!

We met Patricia Kluwe at the Hyde Park Art Festival. We really loved her work! She told us she had more canvas paintings displayed at the Brenda McMahon Gallery in Gulfport FL. Patricia got us in contact with the gallery owner, Brenda, who was just wonderful to work with and we made plans to come in to see Patricia’s piece “St. Petersburg”. My husband and I fell in love with “St. Petersburg” and could not be happier with our purchase. The gallery is lovely with all sorts of original, unique and beautiful pieces of art. Brenda was extremely knowledgeable about the artist, Patricia Kluwe, and the actual piece we were looking at as well as all of the art she had on display. And she was super nice and laid back! We so enjoyed meeting her, we love our new art piece (thank you Patricia) and we will definitely be back to see what new things Brenda adds to her beautiful gallery.

It's always a great to visit Brenda's gallery. Filled with unique and fascinating pieces in a variety of mediums, it is a feast for your eyes! If you choose to commission, the artists work with you to meet your vision so that you have a highly personal work when it is completed. I have included two clay pieces of Brenda's, and one fiber work by the late Marlene Glickman.

An evening out for a burger with my girlfriend turned into an extremely special night while walking into the store and meeting Brenda. Her warmth and charm helped me top off the night with a special gift and we could not have been happier! Do yourself a favor, go see and support another amazing store in Gulfport! You will walk out with smiles every time! Kudos ladies!

I love the beautiful, unique art piece that Brenda McMahon from Brenda McMahon Gallery in Gulfport created for my home. The textures, creative design, and colors of the artwork make me feel calm, peaceful and it brings me much happiness being able to enjoy looking at it daily. What a great class. I was hesitant to sign up because my art skills are mediocre at best. Brenda was so such a great teacher and showed me how creative I could be without having to really be an artistic. Can’t wait to get my finished piece and show it off. Loved the class.

Fun gallery with a large variety of terric products. If I were to win the lottery, I would head to Brenda's shop. She is very friendly & a wonderful representative of her shop.
