Brett's Waterway Cafe, Fernandina Beach FL

Brett's went out of their way to make my Daughter and SIL's wedding spectacular. They take no dinner or lunch reservations; however, we were seated promptly and the service and food was amazing! Please, go to this establishment when visiting Fernandina Beach for lunch or dinner. You will definitely be glad you did!

My family of 5 just dined here last night, and it was fabulous. We were seated directly outside on the patio and were able to watch the sunset. Our server was prompt and excellent. The food was truly amazing! The atmosphere was kid friendly, and even the kid meals were excellent. We will definitely be back! This restaurant is a true gem!

We sat at the bar for drinks and the bartender made an amazing cosmo. Prices were reasonable, bathrooms were very clean, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Definitely a great spot to watch the water and boats come in.

Right on the water. Eclectic menu. Highly recommend the crab dip au gratin. The blackened swordfish topped with crab meat also very good. The fried seafood was breaded and fried to perfection. Service was friendly and fast even though the whole boardwalk outside was packed. We were seated almost immediately.

I live in Jacksonville and I have eaten at this restaurant many times. I always go there for the waterfront location, not the food, but the food has always been good. Tonight, I ordered the fried shrimp dinner. I had not eaten all day, I was hungry, and I was expecting dinner-size portions.

What a disappointment! For $25, I got 8 (EIGHT!) fried shrimp. They were not really big shrimp at all; they were medium-size. They were good, but not great, and I only got EIGHT shrimp! I'm NOT exaggerating! I stopped and picked up some fried chicken on my way home so I could have a full meal.

Our waitress was sufficiently friendly but busy and not particularly attentive. There are many other seafood restaurants in the area, and many of them have food that is as good or better, and more food at a better price. I don't think I will return to Brett's again.

Restaurant to hot! A/C can’t keep up. Food good. Service good. But how can you enjoy your meal in a warm restaurant.

Great place for seafood and the sunset.
Outdoor patio for dogs too. Many yachts and people in the Harbor. Flounder and fries. Nice

Had a wonderful lunch experience at Brett's a couple of days ago. My wife and I both had salads, calamari & crabmeat. Very nice portions and excellent quality, the staff are very nice and a young man found my wife's small purse that she dropped on the floor and returned to her before we left. I mentioned to the owner/manager that the previous day we had lunch at the Ritz Carlton, but.dining at Brett's was a better experience.

Some of the best food, service, views and atmosphere you’ll find in Fernandina Beach. Alex could quite possibly be the best server we’ve ever had Anywhere and the peach bread pudding was Definitely the best dessert we’ve ever had! Stop in and eat if you’re in the area. You won’t regret it.

Best view. Romantic. Good food and drinks. We try to eat there every weekend. Well work the money to me. Sometimes service is a bit slow on the patio

Really great outdoor dining, water view and sunset were fantastic, drinks were good and our server was very friendly.

Great, fresh food and incredibly friendly staff. The views were beautiful too and our whole family enjoyed their food and time here.

Very nice place to eat. Great on the water, you can watch ships. We also had the opportunity to watch a cruise dock. We had a very nice waiter who gave us good advice.
