Brevard County Clerk of the Court, Melbourne FL

I had to pay a mediation fee and work as a teacher (limited hours, limited free time) hours of operation on their website states they are open at 8 am, however, the busy or error tone I received calling their office from 8: 05 am to 8: 30 am tells me they don't want to assist the people of Brevard County in a timely manner. I will change the review when they change my mind.

Received a traffic citation while traveling in Brevard County. The officer informed us it would be a minor violation with a $10.00 fee, and we could address the issue issue online as we live out of state. Well, the way in which the citation was coded and with us living out of state, we were forced to pay over $120.00 in fines. We would have had to contact the officer directly, have him view the violation resolution in person and verify it had been corrected, and then ask that he submit and amended citation. Clerk staff were not especially helpful in advice or assistance. The officer wanted a stress-free resolution while interacting with us in person, only for us to find out the real costs and expectations long after we were out of state.

Oh they have more than clerical errors paperwork never gets delivered to you they hold court without you they serve you 22 hours before the court date because of clerical errors from the lawyers office the court clerks office and the only one to catch it was the sherries department when i went up there they act like im the one in the wrong because i complained that someone needs to take responsibility for their mistakes and be held accountable!

Some of the most inept people you'll ever meet. There are one or two that know their stuff, but the rest have no idea what's going on, policies, how much you have to pay with all fees, or when your license will be suspended if you don't pay all of the fees, that they don't know you have to pay. If I hadn't called back three times to get a different person, I'd be riding around on a suspended license right now. And MAKE SURE THEY GIVE YOU ALL OF YOUR PAPERWORK!

Was at the clerk of the courts in Viera was very busy because problems
with the computer system, as I waited a clerk (which I learned her name
later Christina M) was helping people walking and asking them how she
could help by directing them to the right person or place. When my number was call and hour and half later she handled my reason
being there with a big smile and very eager to help, while waiting
for the computer to accept her input we a very nice talk.
All want to say Thank You Christina for being so pleasant and helpful,

The clerk of court handling our marriage license was extremely helpful and had a very pleasant personality. She even a sense of humor, which made the experience even more personalized and enjoyable!

Who ever this Cathy secretary is needs a range check, i called about general information on a traffic citation.very nasty attitude for no reason and could careless about helping.

Very professional and courteous staff, whom will work with you and do everything in their power to help the average person (like me) set up payment arrangements to make large tickets, and overwhelming citations affordable. Making payments on a monthly basis really helpful for lower to middle class families. The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars is because of the very long wait that you run into @ all times of the day, which I was told can only be avoided by getting there right @ 8am when they open.
Overall I have had great experiences dealing with the company.

Hung up on me because they don't want to fix clerical errors. On the website states zero to pay. Clerk took my ticket so I don't know what to pay. Irony is government
