Dr. Schutzbach was welcoming, thoughtful, and forthright about my needs and issues. He is direct but always positive and curious, not judgmental. I'm excited to have established a relationship with him as my PCP.

I am new to town and was able to get in to see Dr. Schutzbach on very short notice for pre-surgery medical clearance. My primary care physician would not accommodate me. Dr. Schutzbach was very professional and very thorough. He showed real concern for me and asked a lot of good questions about my health that were not required by the specific exam. In fact I think he gave me a more thorough exam than my old primary care physician gave at my last annual physical. The nursing and administrative staff reflected a similar level of professionalism. The office seemed to be well organized.

Dr Brian is great, very thorough with my care and for that I am a happy member of Baycare Gateway family.

This was my first televisit. It was very convenient and adequate for my my health concerns. Dr. Schutzbach was very thorough in the examination and spent sufficient time to determine what treatment I needed. I am thankful for Bay Care for always coming through for me!

Dr. Schutzbach was extremely helpful. He explained everything in detail and provided me a better understanding of options. Excellent style and very personable.

The doctor was very kind, very well mannered, and very helpful. I truly wish that Blue Cross Blue Shield and Baycare can work things out so that my daughter and I won't have to change doctors yet again.

Doc was fine and effective. MA was unmotivated and did not care to listen. Walked out in the middle of my telling her something. Reception was just as unmotivated. I explained to a friend and asked "Is that the best they can get? " He responded "Yes. " Less than friendly. Just doing a job they did not appear to want to do. I must assume you cannot train the unskilled to suddenly utilize customer service skills.

There was a sign directly to the right of the front desk person photographically demonstrating the proper and improper way to wear a face mask. Not only was the front desk person demonstrating the wrong mask usage mirroring the photo but her co-worker wore hers in the same manner. I was embarrassed for the practice.

Again, the doc was just what I needed and a nice guys as well.

Called for an in person appointment only to find out 3 blocks from the Dr office that it was actually a remote appointment. Nothing like this was discussed at the time the appointment was made or on my check in reminder. As a result, the appointment was useless.

Dr Shutzbach has a great communication skills. Very receptive to my situation and suggested a care plan that will improve my health. Much appreciated the visit!

I guess this about my Teledoc visit. Had some tech difficulties but, I think it was on my end with computer connection. With a positive COVID situation it worked great so that I got the script I needed without exposing anyone in your office. My wife could not get her script with her insurance Teledoc and had to go into urgent care clinic to get it. She is scheduled to be a new patient with Dr Brian in October. Good work!

Went here with my mother to her appointment only to watch this physician essentially ignore what she had to say in reference to her anxiety issues. She has literally been in tears for weeks on end, has developed social anxiety and is just in a constant state of worry. This was mentioned to him, yet nothing was done. Nevermind the fact that a medication dosage adjustment could be an option, or possibly a new medication? Guess that would make too much sense.
It was obvious that he was not paying attention to what she had to say being that she had to repeat herself numerous times. After she explained that she had seen countless psychiatrists to no avail, what did he do? Refer her to yet another psychiatrist (one she had already seen nonetheless, so that goes to show you how well he listened, much less checked her chart). It just seems that he could careless about the well-being of the patients that he “inherited” after Dr. Jacobs left (she was actually great/caring of her patients). Will definitely be assisting my mother in finding a new PCP since it’s apparent he could careless.

I found Dr. Schutzbach to be a very personable, approachable, and conscientious physician who is willing to take the time to get to know his patients. I am customarily nervous in the presence of healthcare professionals, but Dr. Schutzbach's warm personality allayed my fears and made me feel very comfortable throughout my visit. I highly recommend Dr. Schutzbach to one and all as a superb professional.

I called the office to see what steps to take cause I sick with COVID (tested positive, home test) Son who works at Publix came down with it 2 days before and went to a walk in clinic to be tested. So Dr. Schultzbach scheduled appointment that day Wednesday @ 4 PM. The Doctor was prompted, professional and I was a candidate for Paxlovid (COPD). That night I was able to start the Medicine right away. Thank you. Valerie Travis

Front desk staff is not efficient. I'm always put on hold for long periods of time anywhere from 5 - 23 minutes.
Sometimes they are very hard to understand both on the phone and in person. There have been multiple times that I have been promised a call back with important information and it never happens.

Dr. Schutzbach was courteous, professional and thorough. He's a good listener, which is important.

Doctor Brian is nice but his receptionist Sylvia is horrible. 4 times in the last 2 years I've called sick to come in and see the doctor and she tells me I have to wait a day or 2 that they don't do same day appointments. He really should fire her she's rude and doesn't care. I don't recommend going here.
