I'm partial since I work there, but it has the best selection of tackle in central Florida, and more than Bass Pro Shops, and better prices.

You really can't beat the Fisherman's Candy Store when it comes to selection, service, and quality. Love going in there and browsing the Rod Room for my next big purchase or buying something from the affordable section when I need a quick new fix.

Just about everything you need for fishing. If you can't find it or they don't have it just ask. They may have a good alternative or can get what you are looking for. Very nice folks too.

As an avid fisherman I was excited to find this this place
You first enter a porch type room that holds an abundance if no-name rids and reels. Once walking in I quickly notice a bunch of more name rod and reels, walking the aisles I saw a hodgepodge of tackle disheveled on the shelves. It's pretty much a place cluttered with fishing gear the bigger stores discounted. I'm not saying you won't find a good deal, but, you will spend some time searching the unorganized merchandise to find it.

SO much stuff in here, love it. The staff can be a little stuffy it seems, unless you are a local and they see you often. Other than that I'm sure if you ask questions etc, they will help you. Great place.

It took them over a month to get an eye replaced on my rod. If you need a eye replacement you should make sure you have a few months to wait on it to be fixed.

Great service very loyal people when my pole had a shipping defect and the tip broke so i returned it no cost great bait and is always in stock of what i need.

If you're looking for great people and any of the gear you'd ever need this is the place to go. Every time I need something I try to make it over there, the staff is fantastic, always ready to answer questions or just talk shop with you, and even though it's a "hometown shop" they carry all the latest greatest gear around. Can't recommend the shop enough.
