Rip off do not trust they will add on to your monthly premium with no explanation and will fail to provide the consumer with adequate legal notice of fees, filing a complaint with the state and BBB. You cannot change the terms based on assumption, thats legal.

This is the worst insurance in the US. I do not recommend it to anyone. I have been canceling for almost a year and I continue to receive amounts that I have to pay.

This car insurance company went from double charging me in June (causing me to loose my place and almost my car), to now making my license suspended due to a false report that they sent out to Tallahassee stating that I didn’t pay my car insurance when I did pay (ON TIME) because I was set up on AUTOPAY! …. I’m contacting the BBB and switching to someone else come December. Don’t ever use Bristol West/Security National car insurance. They will screw you over, mess with your money and livelihood every chance they get. Unbelievable terrible service for someone who has been a loyal customer for the past 6-7 years, and I’ve never been late or lapsed before! Smh.if I could give a 0 star review I would. The people who work for this company, the customer service agents, don’t do their job correctly and misinform you of everything, telling you one thing and then another. It’s a run around with them. Don’t ever use this company. I pay you for a service and you did the exactly the opposite. There’s no communication. I spend/spent thousands of dollars with you and got got. F this company. This company needs to be shut down!

I wouldn’t give 1 start but it’s required. Everything about this company has been a pain in my rear. From customer service to the actual policy. Thank god we never had to claim anything because I’m sure there would be some excuse as to why they couldn’t cover anything. We signed up for Auto insurance in jan. We kept getting emails saying our payment didn’t go through due to incorrect account numbers. We verified with our bank the account, routing number, the amount of money in the account & made sure there were no restrictions. Everything on my end was good. After multiple attempts to get EFT to work I had to talk to a supervisor at Bristol west. They couldn’t explain what was going wrong so they cancelled the original policy, they informed me there is a late fee they would take care of because I was not at fault. With eft still not working we had to create a new policy (this was the only idea the supervisor could think of). With the new policy they wanted to charge us $500 more because “rates have gone up now” lol. I tried to lock in this policy more then 30 days ago and their systems weren’t working. After our insurance agent spent hours trying to get the policy as low as possible, I was still stuck paying $200 more for auto. This time our payment went through. After terrible customer service the first few months about constantly getting bills that we still owe monthly payments (we pay 6 months at a time), we decided to switch. More than a month after we switch we got a bill from collections stating we owed a $30 late fee which was not true because we had done everything right & Bristol west was at fault (as the supervisor told us). After calling Bristol west 3 times & neither of the girls we had talked to would even listen they just kept saying I created a new policy and just have to pay it. After I said “I’m sorry I don’t think you’re understanding” and she replied “no I don’t think you’re listening, pay your bil” & hung up. The second time someone answered and as I was just introducing myself they hung up. The 3rd lady allowed me to say the full situation and then hung up.

I still have no resolution or even directions to go. We will simply start with contacting The Better Business Bureau. This company is better closed.

Don't get involved with this scam of an insurance company. They have you for 6 months, mess up policies, and send charges for things that are not applicable. Garbage company in every way.

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT AND REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They add stuff in between the time the bill post online and the time you get the actual bill and it's time to pay. Its extremely expensive and the customer service is awful. Don't even get me started on having to be on hold for 20 minutes at a time

Doesn't even deserve 1 star. We do not have this insurance, but the person that hit our car did. They wouldn't accept fault even with the police report stating so. Bunch of crooks! Steer clear if looking for insurance and hope you don't have to deal with someone that has it.

HORRIBLE company. I was rear ended 9/29/19 gave them all the proof including pictures and police report, and they did absolutely nothing but charge me a deductible and changed my claim representative. My car war totaled 6/12/23 I spoke with management about it because the CSRs don't know anything and the manager agreed to send my refund due to total loss of vehicle. Called yesterday and once again got the run around and got absolutely nothing taken care of other than receiving a $25.92 bill that they sent to collections because the policy was canceled. There are way better options for insurance.

We are not customers of this place but unfortunately the people who hit us are. In the beginning (June), they didn't move too slow and our insurance agent answered our messages. Now we leave message after message and get no reply. The car repair place leaves message after message, unable to get ahold of someone to approve the claim. Hope that you don't get hit. If you do, hope they don't have this insurance company or you will never get your car back. And the supervisors here are extremely rude.

The worst insurance company in the world. Don't get into a car accident with one of there drivers it will end up costing you then the other driver. Don't let them savage your title that's another big bill you will pay out of pocket. The said part can't find any attorneys to sue them unless you get hurt. Be aware I never write post but they are garbage company needs to be shut down!

When I tell you they lied to me to get my business then when I tried to cancel they said I couldn't have my money back then they turned around and charged me for the lie then sent me a bill. Wha di #$=^*#@%^ kind of company is this?

Just another big wig company scamming low middle class for every last penny they can. Made an unauthorized $725 payment on my account. Doubling my policy premium, and now giving me the run around. Go anywhere else I beg of you.

Terrible service, I paid my policy on June 1 and called to cancel the policy on the 3rd of that same month without asking for a refund, just cancel and still on September 18, according to them, they say I owe $105 on my policy. I have called thousands of times and Nothing is resolved, send emails and I do not recommend this policy to anyone.

This insurance is awful. Absolutely horrible. I’ve been dealing with them since April when they’re driver was rear ended us, and was even heavily ticketed for unsafe driving. And I still can’t get my car fixed. Been trying to get them done. And they refuse to pay for the damages they’re driver caused. They adjusters are beyond rude and unprofessional. If they treat us like this, I wonder how they treat their clients. Truly awful and I have to get a lawyer just to get anything done from their end. Absolutely ridiculous. Never had this type of service before.

This company is a joke. You have to make one change on your policy per day, I've got 3 days of the run around when correcting my payments and adjustments on my payment methods. There are no assigned agent's to call for your policy issues.

Edit: This company is issue after issue. Was charged an incorrect amount after making a payment with the app, and the customer service response was, and I quote "the app or browser does not reflect the correct amount due. " Now a missed payment and late fees because their online services do not charge or display the correct amount. Call them again to have a card removed because I no longer use that account, the card supposedly gets removed, no problem. Right up until now, where come to find out, they never actually removed that card, just picked a few keys away and pretended to do the work. How'd I find this out? By checking my policy to see that it's been cancelled. No cancellation notice of ANY sort, fees to reinstate, and now I get to deal with the state about why my SR-22 was cancelled. This company is becoming increasingly difficult to deal with, and I seriously do not recommend unless you have almost no other alternative.
