Brittany Bay Apartments, Largo FL

I love it here. My wife loves it here too. We have a neat space and we are happy in it. Heather at the leasing office is very nice too. Very respectful lady. We like the pool, the little gym and I honestly can’t complain.

I recently moved to Brittany Bay Apartments and my husband and I love it here. We have a small neat space for two and furnished our place to our liking. We have nothing but good things to say. There’s also an amazing, warm lady named Heather at the Leasing office who made us love living here too. She has great customer service and is very respectful. I love it here.

Heather is the most amazing, heaven-sent lady you may ever deal with. Recently moved into Brittany bay apartments and have had nothing but amazing experiences due to Heather being as amazing as she is. These apartments are nothing close to what they used to be, but miles better, and Heather has made it such a pleasure to be here. SHE DESERVES THE WORLD! I’ve looked at apartments all over Tampa Bay, and being a perfectionist and picky had yet found my home. Until I found Brittany Bay! They had multiple pools, beautiful grounds, multiple layouts to choose from, and what REALLY sold me- the staff! I spoke to a Lori and a Heather and after my experience with them I knew there was no other place I wanted to call home. I’ve never been treated with such respect and kindness and I was blown away. I don’t know if Lori or Heather will see this- but you have no idea what your kindness and above and beyond treatment means to me. As long as you two are there I will proudly call Brittnay Bay my home.

Heather was amazing she was very professional she showed us our place she gave us a great tour we couldn't be happier, it's quiet where we are the neighbors are nice. Anytime I had questions I always got prompt answers if I needed something done in my place always done in a timely manner. Thanks again for a wonderful leasing staff especially Heather and Amber.

The new apartments are beautiful and staff is amazing. Wish had a dog park, but all is happy for me.

Whats the deal with turning the water off consistently without ever any notice? It's been turned off every afternoon for the last week and there has been no communication to the building.

Yes, Brittany Bay is going through some "growing pains" right now. However, I must say that their property mgr, Lori Jaspan, is the best apartment property mgr I've encountered here in FL over the years.

She is organized, very conscientious, and kind-a rarity when it comes to FL apartment managers. I must say that for the 2-1/2 years that I've lived here, I've noticed that although Brittany Bay is a HUGE complex, she seems juggle it all very well.

A community that you can live and relax here. A place you can call home they have a wonderful staff working here if you don't believe me come check them out

I you like roaches, rude staff, and your car being towed away for no reason…this is the place for you.

I lived here for a while and moved out 3 years ago.

The building was infested with roaches and nothing we did or the complex did would get rid of your unwanted six-legged roommates. We also had bats in the attic and the complex took no actions to get rid of that infestation.

In the last 3 years, the rent has increased from $845 to $1,525 for the same apartment.

Just wow.

My wife and I love our place. We opted for a renovated model 1b1b unit and could not be happier. Thank you Heather!

All these negative reviews don't lie. This place is very dangerous and not safe for anyone, especially people with families.

Everytime I'm there there's always very suspicious people walking around and the place is a dump

It's hard to explain how much I dislike this apartment community. They seem to be doing everything in their power to do things.the wrong way. For the 3 years I was a resident here, my car has been towed unlawfully (see below) and have had a few disagreements with management.

The apartment itself was of a very dated appearance and in poor condition. Appliances were very old (circa 1980-90), the porch was dry rotted beyond repair. The cabinet space under the kitchen sink was completely collapsed and rotten due to leaky pipes. I believe during my second year, the air conditioner went out - the process was like pulling teeth to have it repaired. The refrigerator did not work well at all - it did not keep food at a temperature to prevent it from spoiling. Management would not replace it.

The community at large was not exactly model citizens. Lots of drug use, drinking, excessive noise, some vandalism and theft. A police presence once every couple of weeks is not unheard of. You can probably dig up old stories in the news that this place was a well-known gang hub for many years.

My vehicle was towed, due to a clerical error by management inputting my license plate information incorrectly into their database. This caused my car to show up as an "unauthorized vehicle in resident parking". Several bitter phone calls later and even worse calls to the towing company, the complex bit the bullet and refunded me the entire cost of the tow and admitted fault. The towing company they use patrols at all hours of the night and is, to put it mildly, an incredibly corrupt and improper relationship.

Just for fun, late 2022 I drove by the complex to see how it was doing, and half of it looked abandoned and in complete disrepair. Yellow tape everywhere and gutted buildings. I laughed and moved on.

If you didn't read the whole review - read this: Do not move into this community, regardless of whatever attractive price they (may) throw at you. It isn't worth it.

Management, if you're reading this, hear me out: my experience with this community was so bad, that I remember it like it happened yesterday. Retrain and replace your management.

I can’t express enough how wonderful my living experience has been for the past two years. Lori has been extremely wonderful and has always on point and all of the staff. I have maintenance issues they were always there when they were needed things were taken care of in a timely matter. I would recommend moving here yes you will see bad reviews but those are people who probably had issues paying or were not able to get in please give Brittany Bay a chance. They are doing Everything they can to make this place look beautiful. I will truly miss living here.
