Broken Shaker at Freehand Miami, Miami Beach FL

This place rocks. Outdoor garden with a pool for the residents of the Hostel/hotel, and a bar with limited indoor seating g.
We got several cocktails - but The Luckiest was our favorite. We had the street tacos and fries- both were very tasty. The vibe is great. Highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this place. The only bad thing was that they had no waitresses to serve you. You had to walk to get your drinks and food snf bring it to your table.
If you are looking to be served I guess this is not the place.

Good drinks, tho if you order off the menu you’re up to them to over charge you for any “special” liquor, no indoor dining. Lovely decorations!

Went to broken shaker after dinner to relax. Very good vibe. They have seating near the pool. Clean and well maintained. Will visit again next time I am in Miami.

Expected more from the reviews. I’m sure it’s fun somehow, but tonight there was no chef and it was empty. Betting I got pulled the short straw, but it didn’t seem like somewhere I’d go back to

Recently had a solo staycation on south beach and was really looking forward to getting my drink on here without worrying how to get home. I was definitely disappointed to learn that this is more of a “sit and chill” place. Everyone is seated at their own table, like what would be expected at a restaurant, and that’s pretty much where they stay. There was no one mingling, no interactions amongst patrons… at least not around 11 pm on a Saturday. The spicy margarita was skipable and the coco puff old fashion would be a great after dinner drink.

One of the very few genuine spots in MIA where you can have a good time without spending millions. Meet cool people who don´t care about your yacht.

Fries weren’t very crispy but the rest of the food was good. The chicharones were excellent. Fun to have dinner there in an outdoor courtyard near a pool. Seating can be a bit iffy with a somewhat random assortment of chairs/couches and tables, some of which were wobbly.

Way too expensive for what you get and were out of menu items despite already having a limited menu.

What a great find. A refreshing change from the too loud, heels and minidress club scene on Collins Ave. Drinks are phenomenal. Crafted with expertise and intention- these are not typical bar drinks. Vibe is casual, colorful and unpretentious. Service is just right, friendly and familiar. Music is the perfect background soundtrack and no need to scream to hold a conversation. Food is solid. Prices appropriate for the level of bar craftsmanship. Seriously recommend. 10/10 would hang out here all night.

I visited Miami Beach for a bachelor weekend and sampled many quality bars during our stay and I can say Broken Shaker was definitely the most impressive. The atmosphere on a late Thursday night had the right amount of chill and socializing. The tiki atmosphere is always conducive to drinking and here it couldn't be more fun. The cocktail craft is taken seriously and their menu had some combinations that don't seem to work but somehow come together nicely like the true test of a versed mixologist. They had a breakfast cocktail with every ingredient seemingly out of place that the recipe seemed like a clear mistake. Obviously I had to order it. The description was on point and it was one of the drinks that still stays in my mind from the trip, and there were many many consumed over the weekend. My opinion was only solidified when visiting bars later and asking for recommendations and constantly having the Broken Shaker mentioned over and over again.

We’ve come to this place before and have experienced great service, but this time around maybe at night time the B schedule was on and unfortunately the service did take a long time we were able to order not only a first round of drinks, but two rows of drinks before food even came out, which is the only reason that this is only getting a four-star… Everything else besides, that was hands-down, a great experience, but overall The service was a little slow, and they lost a point for that.still a great experience

Underwhelming.
Advertised as a sports bar, but no TV’s. Very limited food selection as well. I will not be returning.

The scenery is sweet though. A garden and a pool once you enter.

Nice rooftop but nothing special. I’d say it’s a bit expensive for what it is. Even when some of the staff were friendly, it doesn’t seem real. We ordered just two can beers and fries and we paid US$36 which I consider a little bit too much. You’re not even allowed to smoke cigarette in the balcony. I wouldn’t recommend this rooftop for your first option.

Really cool & unique experience/location! Drinks were phenomenal and the service was excellent.

Whimsical and hippie hipster vibe. Service was just ok. Drinks weren’t bad but I think ppl come more for the ambiance

It was a nice area, I loved how the drinks incorporated “nature” the flowers & herbs. Did not eat the food. Came for Happy Hour which is only at the bar meaning that you have to go to the bar to order any happy hour drinks or food. Wish they had more on happy hour menu
