Brookestone Senior Residences, Tallahassee FL

Stopped by yesterday to get info for my sister. First, there are tons of reserved & handicap parking, but not one guest parking spot. The office sign said they were closed, but they were not. The lady in the office seemed totally annoyed I was there. At first, she wouldn’t even look at me, never acknowledged me. It was the janitor she would talk to & look at. He had to say, she’s here to see you. She never even asked how can she help me, in fact she didn’t say anything. When she finally motioned for me to come in, I decided to leave. If my initial experience was that bad in the first 5-10 minutes, it’s not a place I want my sister to live. If she could be that rude to a potential client, imagine how she is to the residents. Recommendations: add at least 2 guest parking spaces; put clear signs explaining how contact management. Hire a friendly person, & if you don’t want people to stop by for information, put it on the website.

My love one live here and I totally don't like this place fire alarm goes off 4 hour's straight firetruck came police came maintenance were called several times and no answer or call back. Needs better management all around. I don't recommend this place anymore. No protocol in place what so ever not good for wheelchair and bed bound patients that's on higher floors if you can't use elevator. Needs better management seriously

Mrs. Brewer and the Maintenance team are very attentive to our needs. They run a professional office and upkeep the property inside and out. Since Ms. Kay started there has been a big change in getting good qualified residents as our neighbor. Happy with the overall management now! Sandy

The manager of this place, Ms. Brewer, is horrible and rude. Please find someone else who is more professional and shows more compassion for the people who reside here. I will never recommend this place to anyone. It’s one thing to have issues with maintenance but you should not have to deal with rudeness from those who are left in charge!

This is worst place for elderly to stay! The front desk manger is very nasty and rude. The maintenance man is the bout the best one!

I’ve lived at Brookestone and enjoyed my stay. The Manager was the most professional manager that we had. She was hands on and didn’t mind helping me with paperwork. Thank you Ms. Brewer. Keep up the good work we can be a handful at our age!

We need answers! I have knocked on the managers door and left messages and no response! Who is managing this building?
