I had the same experience as every other 1-star reviewer, do not interact with these shady people. A real travel agency doesn't hide their address and doesn't hide the cost of your trip from you. They call every single person who writes down their phone number, and try to get you excited and positive so you'll say yes to anything. Total scam artists.

Regardless of the reviews of the people that were not understanding this is a great company. They really work with you. And yes you have to pay for your fees when you win a free cruise but think about it. Your saving over 2000 on the hotel. It's not a bad deal at all! Yes the hotel is free you win that. Total you pay around 670 for two people for a week vacation all inclusive of you book at the wyhndam and it's broken down into payments. And to top it all off the employees are very understanding and get it. They are people too.

I won a free bahamas vacation Jan 2019. I paid the 4 payments of $69.99, and had plans to wait until mid 2020 to go on my trip. The VIRUS comes around, and now it's not safe for me to use my cruise in 2020. I called them April 2020 to see about a refund. The lady, at the time, offered me either a full refund OR postpone until 2021. At the time, I choose postpone until 2021. Fast forward Oct 2020 and there are STILL many cases of the VIRUS in my area, with no end in sight! I don't feel safe traveling to Bahamas in 2020 OR 2021. I call to request the full refund. I am DENIED. The fact that the VIRUS has made it unsafe for me to travel IS NOT MY FAULT, and yet this company will not refund me. They are scammers and con artists, BE WARE!

Definitely NOT FREE! They do make you pay for the cruise which is the transportation to the island but its optional, aside from that they leave out the details on fees that you have to pay like the RESORT FEES per person! I paid for the cruise whatever, then the port tax ok, but then right after confirming they tell you, you have to pay for the Resort fees which are the use of amenities which is another "fee". They should be up front and tell people look these are the fees we're going to charge before people book anything. So in total so far it seems like my total will be 1198.88 that's if they don't add another hidden fee. I may still go just because it's still somewhat cheaper in most occasions, I did my research on that, and only because a trip would be nice.if they come up with some other fees then I won't go! But i will update as to what I happens if I go on the trip.

These people are crooks if I could give zero stars I would. Please don't pay these people any money I urge you. Booking a trip through groupons is a way better option with no hidden fees

The worse ever, we won a stay at the resort. We paid for the cruise then they asked us to pay $258 for port fees. Now they want $800 for resort fees and resort taxes. A rip off and now I am short $319. They said they will use that as a credit for a 2 day cruise. But I would have to pay that 258 back for port fees plus an extra $100. What a rip off. I would never book with them or go on the cruise ever again.

I received a text message saying a won a trip. I did a few research and saw it wasn't a scam so I decided to book the trip. FYI they ask for a bunch fees including port taxes, long story short we got the hotel that they claimed is a resort.it was the worst experience ever. The place looks a motel. The resort name is (TANIO RESORT) Things falling from the ceiling.everything is over priced. I called right away and canceled the same day we got there. And went home the very next day. Don't waste your money. It was a complete loss for us.

It would be morally okay if their technique was not deception in so many ways. I might have actually went with Brooksdale a travel agent but NOT ANYMOREE! It's legal by corporate political standards etc. But the sponsors will all have their day!

First I would like to say that for all of the negative comments from people who claim that this is agency is a scam because they ask for money is completely wrong. My husband and I just returned (this morning) from a won cruise and resort stay in the Bahamas. Everything that was promised was given. Yes I was very skeptical at first due to the reviews, however after calling the cruise line and resorts and verified everything, I was at ease. Thank you Brooksdale we really enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to returning to the Bahamas. The staff in the reservations department is very helpful and professional even when I became frustrated at moments.

Unfortunately our "free" trip was actually going to cost us $1800-1900 per person with all the fees. So we canceled. Kaitlyn in the office was very nice and helpful but I would not recommend this company overall.

This is a scam. I entered a 4 day 3 night stay Bahamas vacation giveaway at a little restaurant while I was on vacation in Florida. A few weeks later I received a text saying I had won the trip. Me being the skeptical person I am decided to do some research before contacting their agent that the 10 min recoding sends you to. Everything seems very legit until you start to do some research. All of their social media sites have been made recently with no comments, likes, or followers. I contacted the cruise line they are supposedly paired with and they don’t even work with a company by the name Brooksdale. I also decided to look up the agency through the better business bureau and what do you know they have been registered as a scam there by multiple people as well. Do not let these fake reviews fool you. These people are obviously good at what they do and make everything look very legit until you start doing some digging. Way to be a dissapointmemt “Brooksdale”. How about you guys get a life and earn money the right way instead of trying to scam people out of theirs and dissapointong them by not being legit with your Bahama vacation giveaway.

Thank you Brooksdale Travel, for my unforgettable trip to the Bahamas. It was absolutely breathtaking and so lavish, I doubt I could’ve afforded this much luxury had I not won the free cruise trip. I must say guys, I was very impressed by how well the entire trip was planned and how I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I look forward to more adventures with you guys. Great Job!

Winning a free anything is always exciting; imagine winning a free cruise trip to the Grand Bahamas Island. Man, what a time I had, and at prices so low, I almost want to do it again. The entire process of booking the trip and completing the payment was very smooth. Although having to decide to pay the little that I had over the phone was a little strange, but then they explained the whole process and it all worked out just fine in the end. Overall great job putting together a great trip and giving my girlfriend and I a great vacation.

I went on a free cruise to the Bahamas and loved every bit of it. I visited the Bahamas owing to a free trip i won because of a raffle that a few of us filled at some mall. BEST DECISION EVER. We had an amazing vacation that was not only luxurious but also extremely pocket friendly. What a great time. Brooksdale Travel, you guys are awesome!
