Brother's Keeper reviews
14Great place for a varieties and needs. Bought this knitted cover way back in 2001 summer and still great cap. Thanks Brothers Keeper. Was homeless @ Salvation Army 5 months. Until family rescued me in.
Used to have a great experience everytime however when I needed something they were not very nice. I showed up 10 minutes to closing and needed the storage containers they have there that have no lids and they refused me service saying they are closed and it wasn't even 3 o'clock yet then they slammed and Locked the doors in my face no apology or nothing I used to spend a lot of money at this place but not anymore! Floored that they act like they help people when all they want to do is collect money and that is all
My wife got a donation mattress cuz we needed a mattress. Well now ever since we brought the mattress in our home weve had bed bugs i called and all they could say was ohh no. Maybe they shpuld pay to treat our home for bed bugs cover and heat it up.they need to check theyre producks before they gove or sell em out
Its ok but there are much better thrift shops in town. Very high prices on the used furniture
This place is absolutely the best Thrift store. I always look forward to going with my aunt every week once a week. The older gentlemen at the register is always so goofy, kind and willing to help if you need him to. The staff always manage to make me feel right at home. The prices are unbeatable and did you know they always have stunning furniture (Very good condition) at 50% off the marked price.
I went into the office. I they made believe in hope. So much for that. I had to fill out. And I was so happy to do so. I have always work n provide for myself until I got covid last year intubated 10 days. Then additional 7 weeks. They made me believe they were going to help me. And they never called. All I got and I’m grateful for that. I’m disabled waiting on Social Securtiy with both of my foot are dropped. Use brace. I’m really disappointed with the lack of unresponsive especially there were social workers there that day. So I’m still looking but it’s really hard for me to do this on my own? I continue to pray for God to open doors for me. Just really disappointed with this place. Sincerely Miriam Ortiz
Great place, great volunteers, fantastic prices. Everything we've gotten has worked just as it's said on the test date tag. We visit frequently - stock changes all the time! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to our community!
Yikes! Great thift finds! But employees are super rude so I guess its not that good of a place:/ yelling at you to get out when the store is closing isn't very friendly and would not want anyone to return:/
I think they are all great at the new location.we donate to them and have looked and shopped in the store several times and always find some great stuff. Prices are good.and staff was nice.
Lots of treasure to hunt in there and really great prices. Books for 10 cents! Nice friendly staff.
I hadn't been to brother's keeper in a while bcus they moved but, when I went looking for a couch they had just what I needed. A grey upscale couch practically new. They had a sale going on 1/2 price if you take it home the same day. It was marked for 100.00. I took it home the same day. You do the math. There is an older guy at the register that just lightens up the place with his humor. Without him it would be a regular thrift store. Everyone so kind though.
We try so hard to help the needy.please don't judge us from one bad
experience. Marilyn Hinds
They charge to much for poor quality clothing and items and their shoes are way overpriced. They aren't very friendly. All in all I don't like the new Brothers keeper.
The cashier/floor lady is very rude picking up clothing throwing in and angry manner. I could tell she hates her job.
