Broward Center for the Performing Arts reviews
12We had not been to the Au Rene venue before but it was a very positive experience when we went there tonight to see Jackson Browne in concert. The staff was courteous, there were short lines at the concessions, the seats were a little bit steep. But we had seats in the top of the balcony and we could see the concert just fine. The sound was great. It seems like the auditorium has good acoustics.
Review is for Amateuro theater. The small stage has an intimate feel and there are no “nosebleed” seats. We mostly go to see the camp performances in summer (those kids are adorable) and the local theater company, Slow Burn, through the school year. Its affordable, fun entertainment without the overwhelming, crowded experience that accompanies the larger stages and events.
Is just so beautiful! So theatrical vibe. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Easy parking. Great location!
Au-Rene Theater at Broward Center For The Performing Arts is classy and always makes for a nice night out!

Had a wonderful time with my co worker and friend! Newbies was superb and the theater was nice clean and welcoming
Amazing Staff! Beautiful and Clean Very Organized! Loved the box seating it was a great view!
Nice place, but some ushers are not knowledgeable and security personnel are very unfriendly. Other than that, nice venue except upper boxes have an obstructed view.
Went there for my son's HS graduation and the place is beautiful and also the area that surrounds it. The whole event was very well organized, and lots of security. Never been to a concert there but I imagine the experience would be very enjoyable.
The place is beautiful. I went to go see Chicago and it was a great show. The food was good too. I got the popcorn mix, pretzel and a cookie.
Great theater, clean, and not super cold like everything in Miami. We saw Beetlejuice the musical and it was great! Super fun, and funny! As a juice fan since I first saw the movie growing up and watched the cartoon a lot, it was an amazing nostalgic experience.
A beautiful theater but with very poor acoustics. We couldn't enjoy the show we watched despite being in the rear Orchestra seating (HH) because we couldn't make out half of what the cast was saying. Then we found out that they have headphones as we were leaving the show. What a disappointment.
Top that with the fact that the seats were way overpriced.
