A 11 years old named Ethan from 5 grade from silver ridge elementary school 3 older than my son assaulted him in the bus with a objet. Thursday afternoon. The result I had to take my son to the hospital and the driver didn’t do anything about it. I want everybody knows

Great, truly caring administration and teachers at my school. Having met teachers from other Broward schools I believe that across the county most of the teachers are great. They care about the individual student as well as their classroom family, not just scores. I worked in California schools and our curriculum, time spent on instruction, and love for students are comparable if not better. Certainly more rigorous at the elementary level, and my kindergarten students are responding with higher level thinking. I love the ESOL training provided for new teachers to insure compliance with the Meta Consent Decree. I love the detailed Marzano evaluations that give specific standards for great teaching here, accompanied by videos so I can see best strategies modeled by master teachers in the classroom. Furthermore, I think my school is safer than any school I’ve ever seen. Truly blessed to have been hired out of field and have been allowed to switch careers and become a teacher in Broward.

The way they go about hiring people for vacant positions shows that there's corruption with this district.
