Never have I been treated with such a lack of sympathy and disregard. We spend about 45min on information for the obituary, and Igrayne Dias sends me my brother listed as a the husband, family members names spelled wrong and people listed who were not supposed to be.

But the worst part is- I asked for fingerprints for keepsake jewelry. They send me a screenshot photo in my email. They did not even have the decency to print it out on paper and put it in an envelope for me. Imagine my surprise when I check my email and see my mothers fingerprint photo. I was not ready to see that but Igrayne made that choice for me.

Hey Igrayne, I spelled your name right because I proofread this comment before sending!

I wasn’t impressed with Browns Funeral home. I found them to be lacking in compassion and understanding during a devastating and emotional time. Whenever we called with a question or concern they made us feel as if you were bothering them.
They also failed to post my family members obituary. I found dealing with them made the most awful time in my life more painful and difficult.

I have used Brown Funeral Home for the funerals of several of my family members. I recommend them highly because of their professionalism, caring, and compassion during a time of deep sorrow. They strive to meet every need our family had. They have handled local and long distance funerals for my family. They also have a beautiful facility in which to hold services.

Working here is an incredible experience.
Our Funeral Directors, Rick and Igrayne, are fantastic people, very kind and pragmatic.
Every service they're hired to do is executed perfectly and without issue.
The crematory is efficient, our operator is also kind and charming.
Working as a student in a licensed apprenticeship facility like this is a wonderful opportunity, the death industry is fascinating.

Beware your information is given or sold! I have been bombarded with solicitations to sell property that is not mine the only place that had this information was this funeral home.

Also I was never told cremation would not take place until paid in full. I was trying to have insurance pay. There were complications so the deceased was kept on ice for weeks. Had they told me this up front I would of paid and then dealt with insurance co.

My wife of 30 years passed away on Monday 8/9/2021 and I was given a suggestion to take her to Brown's Funeral home, so I let them. I went there that day to fill out all the paperwork and was told that I would be notified before she was to be cremated. On Tuesday 8/10/2021 my daughter went there today for the entire expenses and was told again I would be notified when it would be done so we all could get together and pray while it happened. Well I just called and spoke with the owner and I asked what was taking so long and he said it was already done on, Wednesday 8/11/2021. They stole something from my family that opportunity to worship during her body being put to rest that I can't ever get back. I will go way out of my way to tell every person, and information highway to stay away from such an unprofessional place and uncaring for grieving family members.

I was so impressed with Brown's Funeral Home! Their price was very fair. They were very caring and kind. I needed assistance with the cemetery in Miami, and they stepped right in to get that ball rolling. The owner was the one who actually transported Mom to Miami and offered helpful suggestions for her headstone. We had a small family viewing at Brown's and it was very nice. My mom looked so good! They were attentive and listened to how her hair and make up should be. We did not have a service there. I asked a few hours before if they could print bookmarks for me and they did. They even laminated them. Thank you Brown's for making this time of grieving so much easier! I am grateful!

So my Fience's mother passed away. We did not know. Some how Browns funeral home had her. I called and spoke to a gentlemen on the phone and advised him that my fiance would not have money until she got her stimulus. We all know the stimulus is $1,400. We met the funeral director and began going through the paperwork. When it was time to sign the forms, the funeral director pushes the papers to my Fience' and said I need your signature. My fiance's spoke up and asked "How much is this going to be before I sign? " Now remember that $1,400 stimulus? Well his answer was $1,360. Yes that is right. $40 short of the Stimulus. So I chimed in being that I also am a Funeral Director just not in Florida. I told him there was a sign up the road that said cremations starting at $675. He began to raise his voice. He then told my Fience' that she was already into them for $250 for the removal that she never authorized. Just a FYI. If someone dies and noone is there to say what to do, the funeral homes are on a rotation to pick up the deceased. This is what happaned. We called Coast to Coast and they were awesome. Less than $1,000 and treated us how a person in mourning should be treated. Shame on Brown for the treatment and trying to take advantage of a grieving person.

From the first meeting, just over one year ago, to make our end of life plans, it could not have been easier or more pleasant. No overselling, just listening and helping. Couldn't have been better and prices are very fair.
My husband passed away at Hospice very recently. Mr. Brown and his staff have been kind, compassionate and helpful from the start. I highly recommend them! Definitely 5+ stars. I don't understand any negative reviews. They don't make any sense.

They are kind and compassionate and very attentive to our needs; providing just what was necessary for our family and not trying to oversell us with things we did not need.
Igrayne Brown Dias made our experience much easier and more comforting than I ever could have imagined. Richard Brown was very gracious when I first contacted their funeral home.
I highly recommend their services!
I just wish I lived in this area when my time comes!
Thank you Brown family
