There are not enough words in the English language or stars allotted for this review to accurately assess how WONDERFUL this practice has been for my health and wellbeing. I sought out a practice that has a wholistic view on women's health and was not disappointed. Each visit during my recent pregnancy was met with compassionate smiles, enthusiastic support, and a genuine interest in my childbirth goals. Dr. Brown specifically sat with me on multiple occasions and helped to identify past birth trauma triggers (I did not have my first born while under this practice's care) and hone in on how to create a beautiful birth experience with my second. My scheduled C-Section was a healing occasion full of joy. How many mothers can say that!? I will forever be grateful for the entire team at BIFHW!

NEVER EVER GO THERE. My insurance has a deductible of $1500 and I visited other OBGYN's previously with the same insurance and they billed my insurance between $150-$200, so I always ended up paying $50- $75 towards my deductible after the insurance discounts. The reason I visited this doctor is to discuss some procedure because I didn't get an early appointment with my previous OBGYN doctor. As soon as I went there, they want to do the ultrasound just to make sure everything is right, but I declined the service since my plan is to understand the procedure and nothing else. I spoke with the doctor for 10-15 mins and I didn't get a good feeling after the visit. So I canceled the follow up appointment for the procedure. When I got the bill, I am shocked. They billed $452 and my insurance covered $150, now i have to pay $300 for a 10 minute useless conversation.

At my 4 month check up in October 2018, I signed an agreement with the office to pay 1302.89 for the remaining prenatal visits and the doctors fee for delivery because my insurance at that time stated I was responsible for 30% of my deductible. Which was not a problem, this agreement was paid off in full. My employer switched insurances January 2019. I got a call from Dr Browns office THE DAY BEFORE my 8 month check up, telling me that I now needed to pay an additional 2000.00 before my visit or they will have to cancel the visit and my already scheduled c-section. I informed the lady who called that there was no way I could pay that amount right away, so she went ahead and cancelled all up coming visits and my surgery. I understand that the benefits changed with the new insurance but I called the office prior to receiving this call to make sure that I wasn’t responsible for anything else other than the 1302.89 I had already given the office, and I was told there were no changes. So there I was 8 months pregnant with no OB/GYN and my c-section cancelled. I wasn’t given any payment options for this additional 2000.00 or asked if I could pay some of that to keep my appointment and pay the remaining before my surgery. NOTHING. They simply cancelled everything. Luckily I was able to find a Dr to take me as a patient, because being this far into a pregnancy not every Dr will take you as a patient. The way they dropped me, without caring was unreal. Now I have been calling the office’s billing department since March to find out if I will get a refund as the money I gave them was for the remaining office visits which I was not able to complete and the Drs fee for surgery which I did not have.and “it seems” the office submitted my last four claims to the incorrect insurance, they submitted office visits along with a 1300 claim to my insurance. Which makes absolutely no sense to me. Every time I call to get an explanation of what is going on or to see if they issues with the claims have been fixed I get the run around. I call my insurance and they tell me that I have to call the drs office to get my issues taken care of. This whole ordeal has been ridiculous. I stopped recommending people to this office, Dr Brown is great at what he does but this is no way to treat a patient.

Dr. Brown, Erin & everyone in the office feel like they’ve become family to us. They delivered our first daughter in what turned into a c-section. The hospital experience (more the epidural not working) was a scary nightmare that I wouldn’t relive, but having Dr. Brown & Erin there with/for us through it all made my husband and I feel more secure although everything seemed to be falling apart. Dr. Brown checked in on us every day while I was there. We’re just so blessed and thankful to hold our daughter every day, watch how fast she is growing and breezing through many developmental milestones. Oct. 1st was and will forever be a miraculous day for us. Thank you to all of Dr. Brown’s office! Y’all are beautiful people.

Highly recommend Dr. Brown! I had a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to all of my patients! He went above and beyond during my appointment and even personally called another doctor he was recommending me to, while I was still in the office! A huge Thank YOU to Dr. Brown and his staff!

Dr. Brown has always treated my husband and I like family. He made our struggles of getting pregnant more bearable, and his attention to detail and timing is what ultimately led to our conception. If it wasn't for Dr. Brown and his staff, we would have given up many years ago. We can never than him enough.

I've had a great experience. I would recommend Dr Brown, and his staff to anyone. This is my first pregnancy and the staff here, the dr, the nurse and the midwife have been so great. They are easy to talk to, friendly, and are so knowledgable and professional.

After the birth of my first child I realized how important it for me to have a good doctor that I could trust. Dr Brown came recommended highly from a local moms group Facebook page. From the first phone call, I could already tell that this was going to be a great fit for me. Britney, who answered the phone, was so polite, kind and informative. Everyone there appeared to have a good rapport with the doctor. Dr Brown took the time to talk to me prior to my exam and really get to know me. I felt very comfortable after meeting him. It was a great experience and I'm looking forward to Dr Brown caring for me in future pregnancies.
