I am a retired local police Sergeant and I was referred to Dr Witta by a personal family friend a highly decorated surgeon. Dr Witta found I had a peri urethral cyst and chose to operate to remove it. The day of the surgery while in the operating room Dr Witta came in and I was put to sleep under anesthesia. Dr Witta found he was not able to operate on me the cyst was too infected. He told anesthesiologist to keep me under but give me IV antibiotics and notify him when finished. The surgical nurse explained all of this too me. She said Dr Witta went and perform another surgery while I remained under anesthesia compromising my life. While i was under reciving antibiotics I vomitted the nurse and anesthesiologist had to quickly turn me on my side to keep me from choking and suffocating on my own vomit.in other words aspirating having the vomit go into my lungs. After the surgeryvwas finally complete the surgical nurse told me she was so sorry for what they did to me and felt I should know for my safety. I was so upset. After this I go home and I have abnormal discharge bleeding etc The Doctor never called me back it was the weekend. I left message after message and I had to call the office. Ghe office staff were not gettibg along they were fighting with each other. I finally found myself with office staff that were not relaying messages to the surgeon. Some of them were very rude. After researching Dr Witta background as a surgeon he was sued more than once for deaths of patients. I decided to give this man after all that happened to me a s3cond chance to prove he was a great surgeon. The office manager calls and says sorry we will not see ypu fullfilll your request to se Dr Witta as both sides were angry based on previous notes in file. I HAD EVERY RIGHT TO BE UPSET! But I realized one thing today after getting this call. Despite me the patient whos life was compromised by keeping me under anesthesia to administer IV fluids and then goes and operates on another patient. They dont care about the patients at all! They never once appologized to me and here it was I was giving them a second chance! A true doctor and his staff or better yet a doctor who has control of his staff would never allow patient care and quality of care to diminish. LOOK TO THE COURT DOCUMENTS ON THE DEATHS! ENOUGH SAID!

Dr. Wiita is the sweetest doctor I have ever been to. I worked with many doctors in the past because I worked in a local ER for 28 years. He is conservative, starts out simply and goes from there. He takes however much time it takes. I never mind if there is a wait because I know he will give me as much time as I need.
His staff is just like he is. Very pleasant and kind.

Dr Witta took care of my Dad in the hospital at 9 pm without being on call and out of the kindness of his heart. He performed a successful bedside procedure in a prompt fashion. His primary goal is to help his patient - seems like a simple thing but it is actually not. His medical ethics, expertise and kindness should be an example to all of us Physicians!

An incredibly intelligent and brilliant surgeon. Spotted my cancer, had me admitted, operated on and back home within a few days. That was 12 years ago (2006) and still no recurrence.

Liked the doctor in my initial consultation. Seemed educated, experienced, pleasant and informative. Talked to the secretary afterwards about rescheduling and she was rude, condescending, unprofessional, and unable to process simple information. Because of her, I will not have my proceedure done at that office.
