Bubier Park / Huizenga Plaza reviews
20If you like water you will love this place.my son and daughter- in- law had me a boat party and it was a blast not to mention that great sandbar. Thanks Michael and Deon for a great birthday celebration y'all really showed out.
Bubier Park would be a great & beautiful place to be if it weren't so built up with ridiculously priced highrises. Other that all the buildings in and around the park, it's a lovely place to take a leisurely stroll on a busy day to reconnect with the area and relax.
We stumbled upon this park after detouring from the Bodega and Society while trying to get to the Water Taxi Stop 1. Instead of crossing the street which anchored up to the bridge, we took a right and walked towards the Riverfront passing Rivertail on our right and crossed under the bridge to see this gem. It seems like a good neighborhood park for the downtown area as during the day people were walking their dogs, seated and talking on their phones or with each other and exercising. When we passed by 3 hours later after coming our excursion on the Water Taxi to have dinner at Rivertail, we noticed a game of kickball and the gorgeous fountain lit behind the game. It was very peaceful both times.
I hope you find this review helpful. If so, please give me a thumbs up. Thank you.
This place is cool and sits off the water. There's a place to sit but no electrical outlets for the techies.if you're looking for a place to enjoy your lunch this little patch of grass is clean and doable. OBTW be kind to the strangers who frequent the park the don't have homes yet. #Homelessness is not a disease
Lovely water fountain and little trails, but the park does attract a bit of homeless population at times, and there is a fair bit of rubbish in the gardens.
I'm a Riverwalk ambassador volunteer on Saturdays at Riverwalk information booth at what is now known as Huizenga Plaza. It's a beautiful small Park with a beautiful fountain. There is however lots and lots of big construction projects going on all around it. Downtown Fort Lauderdale is going to be where the action is in about another year or so.
When I was going to broward college I had a little break so I took a walk here and was stalked by security. This was in 2014, haven't been back since.
Great little park in downtown. Right on las olas, classic spot. They have added workout machines by the bridge.
A favorite of ours is attending the Irish Festival and Parade, which ends at this park. Tents, Vendors, Concerts, great music and food, the Irish Parade is a unique experience no one should miss!
Nice nice little Park just to sit and relax watch the boats go by if you want something to eat walk down Las Olas Boulevard just relax a little Park
Great.this is a nice small park in downtown Fort Lauderdale. It has a nice water fountain and a covered place for live music. It's right near the river were boats come up and down. A good place to relax and do exercise in a large grass field. This park is usually during weekends with different activities is food and music.
Nice park. Free music "Noon Tunes" is held each Wednesday, February through March, from noon to 1: 30 p.m.
The redevelopment project in downtown Fort Lauderdale is going to be beautiful when it's all finished. I'm just glad that I had a small hand in building the buildings. My company do a lot work in the downtown area.
This is a small park next to las Olas Boulevard, is easy to locate beautiful for small parties or events, very accessible nice walk way next to the river and close to famous River Walk shops and restaurants.
Not so well maintained, don‘t know if it‘s because of the harrican. And there are homeless people sleeping on the benches!
Walking along los olas river front is a great time. This park lights up at night making it really pretty, if you walk down further you will a historic area with some of the first homes ever built, and information on the first families of Fort Lauderdale. Love this area.
Great place to relax. But Definately needs the fountain cleaned. It's all green. Nasty looking.
The park was completely quiet and it was a good place to take my dog to use the restroom before walking down the Riverwalk and the path down the New River comment through the historic areas, and then in the loop back down the Las Olas bars and restaurants.
I'm a resident here and I never knew the name of this park before I don't think it's supposed to then you wear.
There's parking along the side of the road and a big parking garage for the main library.
Came for a festival amazing time. I enjoyed the live music, food, and drinks. Was out of no where.
Took my kids here for a festival and it was great great event a great free sunday funday for the kids free free and more free raffles. Kids definitely love it.
