Budget Car Rental, Marathon FL

Horrible service and typical of Keys employees. Have been calling there for a week while we have a car rented from their location in Marathon and literally been been calling 10 to 20 times per day to speak to attendant and no answer all week long. Finally today on a Sunday some guy answered said he's closed today and it's his day off. Garbage service, go rent from another company.

We were processed quickly and there was no hard sell for add-ons. But they opened 25 minutes late while just sat outside waiting.

I own a company and coordinate for a production company and have rented cars from many facilities for many years. This Budget location is by far the BEST! George & Sesso great you with a smile and quickly get you thru your reservation. These guys are always there if something goes wrong. I really appreciate the help, rates and personal service!

I reserved a car go to pick it up the following day and am told there are none in Monroe county. They didn't call me, they didn't try to fix this in anyway at all and acted like having 3 people three who ALL had the same issue was no big deal. It's a very big dealwhen you reserve a vehicle and they have overbooked themselves! Beyond unhappy!

Budget is just as bad as Enterprise at the Marathon Airport. Your confirmed reservation is completely useless. They lie to you and tell you that they're trying to get more cars brought up from Key West and "I'll give you a call and let you know either way" by the end of the day and of course, it's just a lie to shut you up and they never call and just leave you hanging. I tried calling 15 times the next day to see if they had a car yet and no answer at all. Poorly managed business and completely worth negative stars. Total joke and poor excuse of a business. Filing complaints with Consumer Affairs and the BBB and whoever else I can find. Pathetic and should be ashamed of their business practices.

Budget tried to charge me over $500 on top of my $70 quote because my “car was missing” despite having a photo of me dropping it off. Gave the guy the key in hand, even. Had to fight them for days and days and days until finally getting my credit card to flag all Budget charges as fraudulent. Only then did the company not give me the run around. None of their customer service was worth a damn. Still have them flagged as fraudulent on my card so needless to say I will never rent through them again. Not much fun spending hours on a phone when you’re on vacation. Steer clear of budget!

Never ever again will we use Budget!
Poor customer service.
Van broke down twice.
Lots of inconveniences and Budget doesn't care!

Great staff and they made sure the auto we got was good for what we needed. Took 60 seconds to get our car! Saved us money vs on line service Price line. J
