Kept me waiting forever only for the computers not to be working even after the attendant was 30 minutes late back from lunch horrible experience

No sense of ergency. Slow as molasses. 6 people waiting and 45 min till close. We have to go to work too. Next time it's Enterprise

I Had reservation since Monday for today, Thursday. I Received a call 2 hours before my pickup time and was told that neither Budget nor Avis had ANY cars in the entire city of Tampa. A waste of time and money, then no one answered the phone and I was sent to the company hotline 3 times in a row and they offered no help.

After dealing with the terrible customer service of the Westfield Brandon location, I took a few-minute drive to here to see if they would accommodate me. I was pleasantly surprised that Stephanie was willing to work with me and figure out a solution for finding a rental that I needed even though I was just a walk-up! I appreciate the customer service she gave and can not commend this location more. Great staff, and willing to help you the best way they can.

Worst experience of a life time made reservations for a car that thay did not have then thay ran a "soft credit check" with a debit card and denied me and the website did not tell me about anything that the lady told me i got there at 5pm my pickup was for 6pm and thats what time they closed

This Budget never seems to fail. The staff is always accommodating and works with you to find what you need! Erin at the front desk is always very professional and knows what she’s doing at all times. Pick up times can be busy, but she always gets you on your way!

I very dearly, like to thank ERIN, for following best practices like valuing customers' time, having a pleasant attitude, and providing knowledgeable and resourceful resources, and that you also take things a step further to exceed — rather than just meet — expectations. ERIN IS AWESOME!

Wouldn't give a star if I didn't have to. Worst experience. Truck leaked and all my stuff got damaged. And insult to injury, it leaked in the cab from 2 different places. An attempt at a fix was visible so someone knew that truck was defective. I paid $2600 to drive across the country during hurricane season like I was in my own car wash. They offered me $70 as recompense.

Kept trying to charge my card without telling me the stipulations of obtaining a car rental. Doesn’t matter how much money you have if your credit can’t be pulled (mines can’t due to a security block).

I was overcharged and denied a refund by Budget. Luckily, I used my credit card and my cc company was able to reimburse me upon showing the Budget receipts. Budget attempted to charge extra fees with no realistic explanation or remorse and they were extremely unwilling to give me my deposit back. I do not recommend this headache of a rental agency for anyone.

Erin was BEYOND helpful.after 2 different calls to Budget, no useable information was given. One was obviously from another country where we were told that no itemized charges were shown to the employee, but only the end-total shown on their laptop screen. No one could answer the questions we had.at all. UNTIL we called Erin at the Budget Car Rental on Palm River Rd in Tampa. It was just off I-75, and on our way. Erin answered the phone and I was immediately impressed with her knowledge, attitude, and helpfulness in giving ALL the information that we needed to accomplish getting a useable rental to last us the week (being that our car had broken down and would be in the shop). We were in a "one-way" rental and the price was RIDICULOUS. When we arrived, she was enthusiastic and welcoming. I cannot say how appreciative me and my Father were to run into such a fanatic person, and associate of the Budget car rental company. She should be in management as far as we are concerned.probably the BEST customer service that we have received since the times of 2020/COVID. Good customer service and attitudes go a LOT farther than they used to, and are a rarity in today's world. THANK YOU SO MUCH, ERIN.and stay AWESOME! You are a true 'diamond in the rough! '

Erin at the Embassy Suites Palm River Road, Tampa Budget Car Rental is the best. After dropping off the car, I forgot an item in the car. I called her and she found the time to look for the item and saved it for me till the next day. Thank God, there are still decent people in this world.

They're always pretty friendly here that's about all I can say. The cars could be better and cleaner that's for sure

Always make sure u check your car.they gave me a dirty car on the inside with sand, food etc. I had to clean the car myself, they didn't have another vehicle to accommodate my needs so I was stuck they extended my rental by a day. Once on the road I had to change the car to nearest avis Because the breaks were out. My trip was needless to say horrible

I reserved a rental car for this business online through Priceline.com with the intention of using my debit card for the payment. I got to the establishment when they ran a credit check and informed me that I needed a credit card before I could use my debit card for payment. I was disappointed and deceived by Priceline.com while my debit card should have been honored in the first place.

You get what you pay for. I accidentally dropped something between the seat and center console. When I stuck my hand down to get it, I pulled some some old, hard french fries, and a chicken wing bone. Price is good though!

Erin was very helpful, and was able to get a car ready for me despite having zero warning. We felt lucky to be able rent a car so easily. Thank you!
