Be careful with the hidden charges and btaces, I had to pay $138us for feeds and services that I never requested. It is not the first time that I rent a car but the first and the last with budget.when I arrived at the airport kiosk there were only 3 people and a line of 25+ people sooo slow.beware of unsolicited hidden charges

First time traveling to Orlando and was really bad, 1 agent at the station for 9-10 people in line, was given 2 empty spots for my rental car, having to go back twice to be reassigned. I'm used to the Tampa airport that is so effortless easy to rent a car.

Rental was $500 more than my reservation that I bookee months in advance. I was pressured into buying $300 insurance that I didn't need because I already purchased insurance when reserving the car. When I told the agent at the airport that I already had insurance, she told me it wouldn't cover the car, I should call the insurance company (Allianz) to cancel the coverage I already purchased, and lie to them saying I wasn't going to pick up a rental car at all - and no, they didn't let me cancel because I didn't lie to them. Seems like the Budget agent just wanted to make a sale instead of caring about the customer experience. I did call Customer Service to cancel the insurance but would have had to return the vehicle to the airport and get a new contract, which was impossible to fit into my visit. Vehicle was a 2020 Blazer but the low oil indicator came on the day before returning, the brakes squealed, and the windshield wipers squealed even during a downpour. However, it was very clean and nice inside the vehicle. I won't be using Budget or Avis again and I won't be recommending it.

They charge me for non package item. Finally rent a cart cost me double, when supposedly I paid before to save money, in the counter there're anybody that speaks Spanish and in the customer services line not anybody speaks Spanish to when they supposed to have international customers. I spend time and money of my vacation to go at office on lakeland and their answers was we can do nothing, go to where you rent your car. In conclusion they have horrible service and charged your credit card with non package items.
For Latinos or people who speak Spanish, basically do not trust this company, in the end they will charge your credit card with a non package item concept and finally it will cost double. Additionally, no one speaks Spanish on the Telephone line, because of this we take time and money from our vacations to go to the nearest physical office, and their response is we can't do or know anything here. Basically they have a horrible service for people who speak Spanish and they surprise you with non package item concepts

Shocking service and junked up rental car.got charged for cover I didn't request nor need.steering shuddered and bearing shot in rear wheels.avoid at all cost

Final charge was $171 more than my agreed upon prepaid amount. They are trying to change the daily rate on me which I thought was the point of pre paying - if it was going to cost this much I would have just went with a better company and gotten a nicer car. Ours was older and quite beat up / dirty

The car was ok. My issues came from not being able to figure out the cruise control, having the car slow automatically, and steer when I didn’t want it to. The manual wasn’t a lot of help once we got it unwrapped.
If this is the precursor to driverless driving. Leave me out.

Great price and easy return process, but the line to rent the car took over an hour to get to the front desk and then took another 20 minutes to process because the staff member kept leaving the desk. Overall it took around 2 hours to rent the car and when you’re eager to start your vacation that’s just not acceptable.

Despite knowing how many folks are arriving and at which terminal, and at what time, Budget still only staffed 2 folks for a queue of 20-30 guests. As a result, I waited over 90 minutes to receive my vehicle which subsequently caused me to miss the business meeting for which I had rented the vehicle in the first place. The system should be smarter than it apparently is and this was a very disappointing experience. FWIW, the vehicle was clean and would have been great if it had not taken so long to pick up.

Pickup was great - better than ever. No people involved. Key fob battery died on day 4. Took 6 hours to resolve. Checkin person (Avis jacket) was not interested in our issue. She got snarky, called me a liar, told me she did not need to listen to me and left mumbling obscenities. Tried to get resolution at the window, and was told to get a supervisor at the "returns counter". Unfortunately there is no such thing and a dozen people in the pickup line. Now calling to try some more.

Avoid at all cost! Very long queues (waiting times over 1 hour), very unfriendly sales people that do everything to upsell you. It's quicker and better to go to Daytona airport, where I got the service you'd expect

E-mail invoice was incorrect. I was stuffed for an extra $20 (late fee) even though I was charged for a 2nd day. We returned many hours before the 2037 hours due. This was in addition to the 2nd day rental. There is nothing in the sales agreement about charging for both a second day and a “late” fee of another $20. I will put this one in dispute w VISA. And pay -0- for the rental if Budget doesn’t get it right!
