I want to say if you are in Ocala/Marion County and you need a fast and dependable AC company…. Call Buddy at Bud’s Heating and Air. On Christmas Eve my parents AC went out, I called my best friend and he referred us to Buddy at Bud’s. When I spoke with Buddy he was kind and understanding. He was originally only coming out for a repair, also gave us an option for a new system as well. We were able to finance a new system for our parent who are a fixed income. Buddy told us that they would be out on Wednesday or Thursday to install, to our joy and surprise they were able to come out on Tuesday. They completed the install in one day without a problem. My parent were so grateful and happy with the work and we all will be recommending Buddy and his team at Bud’s Heating and Air. Also, if these accolades weren’t enough. I personally work for a AC and Plumbing company in Tampa Bay. Again, I know quality when I see it. Thank you again Buddy!

Wednesday August 30th I’d prepared for Hurricane Idalia but I didn’t prepare for or expect my A/C to start blowing Hot Air. I leave my thermostat on 72-74 during the summer and it got up to 82 degrees we were sweltering in here. I asked for recommendations from ppl in our retirement park and a gentleman told me about Bud’s Heating and Air even gave me the ph #. I called expecting to get an answering service or voice mail because everyone else was closed due to the storm. Imagine my surprise when he answered his phone. I explained my problem told him all the things I’d done to try to get it working again and asked if he could come out tomorrow. He said “ I’ll come on out right now. So shocked and so happy he was able to. He checked the capacitor and it was good but found wires that were aged, cracked and frayed! Said it was a wonder it hadn’t caught on fire. He fixed the bad wires even showed me how to do my general maintenance on it in order to save myself money. As everyone else has already said he didn’t try to upsale to me just fixed the problem and showed me a few things I myself can do. He did say however if I’d like to schedule a complete clean and service on the system he’d be happy to accommodate that. I told him I’d definitely be calling in the fall to have it checked and serviced before winter time.

Bud is a lifesaver! My AC stopped cooling when it was 93 outside and he had me up and running again within a couple hours of calling him. He’s friendly, professional and charges fair prices. If you need help with your AC, call Bud.

In the middle of summer our air conditioner stopped working and the air smelled moldy and it was making us sick. So my husband opened up the air conditioning handler to find mold and mildew covered most of the surfaces inside the machine. We were in desperate need. We started calling around to get prices on a new air conditioning unit. Bud's Heating and Air by far was the best price we found. He was sympathetic to our problem and even though we were further away from his business he accommodated us and did the installation as fast as possible.

Bud is very knowledgeable about his trade. He is a very easy going person. He doesn't try to up-sell you products that you don't need. He gave us a thorough explanation of how to maintain our AC unit. The men that he employees are also very professional and respectful. In the middle of the installation I asked him if he would put in a new drain line, and he obliged us. He took time to make sure the unit was working properly before leaving.

Needless to say Bud's Heating and Air goes above and beyond to take great care of their customers. That was our experience and I highly recommend Bud's Heating and Air to you. I'm including some photos of the amazing job they did.

He even showed us how to do some of the necessary work ourselves so we could save money. He also did work for my parents and installed their new AC unit.
