I had put a deposit down to be put on the waitlist for one of their remodeled apartments. Well, after two months of getting no updates, I decided to be taken off the waitlist and they won’t give me my deposit back after them stringing me along.

My experience as a tenant thus far has been realistic, and overall enjoyable. I share a 3 bedroom with some roommates and we all have had no problems that couldn't be resolved. There are pests, but its no different than living in a house and the bugs try to come in as the seasons change, so its been easily resolved each time. On the top floor, we do hear critters on the roof or in the attic sometimes, but its not something that interferes with living here. There are some external pipes that allow birds to nest inside, providing bird songs most mornings. Maintenance may take a moment to get to you, but they do a good job and don't take up more time than necessary, while not rushing either. The online site we use to pay rent hasn't been an issue for us thus far. During Covid they tried their best to maintain a safe environment, and after their painstaking efforts we finally have both pools and the gym open again as of this spring (2022).

I give 5 stars for controllable issues.
BUT I also do think that there is room for improvement for quality of life updates. Things like when they did the pavement new earlier this year, a wonderful quality of life update that was. I believe they are in the process of updating some of the buildings, as i've seen them working on one of them. I have nothing but respect for this place and their employees and would recommend it to other folks looking for their first apartment, or a family friendly apartment location. I will update this review as things change around here, and after I move away, whenever that may be.

It’s still an okay place to live. Rent is getting kind of high, but that’s not a unique issue. It’s, unfortunately, still one of the cheaper places in the area. But 1870 for a 3 bedroom is definitely a lot harder to maintain.

The renovated apartments are nice. Not perfect by any means, but definitely nicer.

They have refused to move these containers from the front of my unit. They were using them as receptacles for renovations, but now the renovators no longer use them. People are throwing their personal trash into them. They’re baking in the sun and beginning to stink. This is a health hazard. They charge me a premium for my renovated unit, and this is what I get to see and smell. If the renovators no longer use it, it needs to be removed. I’ve asked nicely via email but have been ignored twice so I unfortunately have to air my grievances publicly until these receptacles are removed. The residents have a trash can away from units with a cover on it. But the complex has made no effort to send a community email to everyone to not use these as their public trash cans. I’m beyond disappointed and hope this is resolved soon before I need to report this to higher authorities to fix the issue.

Yes every apartment is going to have issues but I have to say I had a good experience. They are remodeling them and they look so nice. Plus they have a doggie park now. Thank you Deante for your friendly service. Probably didn't spell your name right. Have a nice day.

Worst place in the world. They break your lease with a 60 day notice for renovations and now half of the apartments are empty. They wanted to raise the rent on a one bedroom apartment from $900 to $1425. I know it's a great location, but the black mold is horrible the apartments flood for no apparent reason. I blame CLK the owners of the property because they try to put as little money in the property as they possibly can. I would move somewhere else that's newer and better maintained. One last thing the water and sewage bill is over $100 some months and your water might be of from 10am until 3pm 2 or three days a week.

The property is whatever. It's a standard 50 year old termite infested, moldy, FL apartment complex. You get what you pay for. But low rating is for the management company and the office staff. They are the most petty, rude and unprofessional bunch of people I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Mike has no business working in a customer service related industry and Yoni (not actually her name, but I can't remember it) the property manager encourages her minions to seek Illegal retaliation against tenants she personally doesn't like. They terminated everyone's lease with a 60 day notice regardless of how long was left in your lease. Some of my neighbors hadn't even lived there for a month before they got booted! Run run run far away!

Horrible experience for the time I was there. The office lady Christina is rude and has no people skills. Asked for things to be fixed repeatedly. Water was shut off every week. Not being notified about packages until they're ready to get rid of them. Terminating my lease after being there a couple years and constant harassment.
