Buena Vista Suites Orlando

I will be nice and rank it as a 4* hotel because overall I liked my stay here. But in Europe it would be 3* at best and here is why:
Housekeeping was good and prompt to clean the rooms and replace the towels. The rooms were very spacious and quiet but had a weird design with a sink stationed in the hallway. Like who does that? Hotels these days with their open bathrooms and barn doors everywhere just make no sense. We had a group of 4 adults living in a room and you can imagine that everyone has to get up and brush their teeth and wash their face while everyone else is watching and listening, and the light is illuminating half of the room. There is no privacy whatsoever.thank god for the bath/toilet had an old school door.
There is a typical American breakfast included: scrambled eggs, sausage or ham and potatoes as a main course. Choice of fruit, juice and pancakes IYKYK type of thing, just a regular school cafeteria vibes, nothing really screamed fresh or organic.
Unfortunately the pool was closed while we were there and it is actually so small that i believe it would be at capacity every day anyway.
There is no proper restaurant at the property, you have to go to the hotel next door for an A La Carte dining. There is, however, a pizza place on the ground floor which I wasn’t able to try sadly.
One of the 2 elevators broke during our stay and the wait time was bad at times.
Free Parking. Free WiFi. Quiet location. Great value.

Resort well located and close to major amusement parks. The 2 Queen bed suite is very large, even the sofa bed is comfortable. There is a small fridge and a microwave.

The wifi did not work or hardly at all in our room, we had to go to reception. It was rather unpleasant to work. In addition, the reception and corridors are extremely cold. We were in January with temperatures between 5 and 18 celsius outside but in the hotel it was always colder.

With the number of stars assigned to this hotel, we expected much better. It's a room, certainly large but basic. The decor is dated and the materials are not of very good quality.
The noise at breakfast is deafening!
An employee called us at past 9 p.m. To ask us to come over because he had forgotten the day before to take our bank card imprint. We were in our pajamas and we were staying another night but he still let us to come down! This is completely unacceptable.
The only positive point is the shuttles to go to the amusement parks.

Review as of JAN 2024. Hotel is comfortable, updated and clean with good and very responsive staff. Parking could be difficult when arriving late at night and definitely not eco friendly since at breakfast all utensils are disposable; this is of course comfortable and clean since they’re for single use only but definitely not good for the environment. No EV chargers nearby. About 15 minutes drive to Disney parks.

Pungent scented cleaning products permeated everything. Felt suffocated by the odor, from the lobby to in our room. Of the elevators (3) only 1 worked. Breakfast was subpar with not options from day to day. Would not stay again!

Good location and clean rooms, the service staff are really kind and helpful. But the the food variety and quality at the buffet in the morning is below average as any hotel in the US! I hope they find away to improve the service and food! Who’s using styrofoam plates now?

This is by far our favorite place to stay in Orlando! The rooms were modern + very big and comfy for my husband and I. We booked a double-queen suite and the living area + bedroom made the entire space so roomy. Only complaint - no exhaust fan in the bathroom so pack some popourri if you’re able! Every day our room was cleaned very well and staff is really helpful/sweet as well. Breakfast had a great variety but everyday it was the same items, I just wish they would change some of the menu from time to time (exchange pancakes for waffles or something). Overall, our 10-day stay was so pleasant at this resort and the location is very convenient. It is just outside (2 traffic lights away) from Disney property and across the street you will find a delicious Indian restaurant (dine-in and takeout both were so good), pizza place, CVS and 7/11 gas station. Parking is free too (they give vouchers to place in your cars) but after 10 pm it could be difficult to find a spot sometimes but no matter how late we arrived - we always found a spot (even at midnight).

Good location, Orlando's main attractions are within half an hour or less from the hotel by car.
I liked the room (suite 529) - quite spacious, many sources of lighting, two TVs, refrigerator, coffee maker, bottled water, ice maker in the hallway near the elevator. I was surprised by the sink in the passage between the rooms, and not in the bathroom. Unusual, not for everybody.
The beds are comfortable, linens and pillows are normal. Room cleaning is high quality, no complaints.
The hotel breakfasts are mediocre and monotonous, which is rather a minus.
There is a pizzeria in the lobby, and a good steakhouse in the neighboring hotel.
In general, for a few nights this hotel is quite a worthy choice.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that it was clean. We were charged twice for “service fees” and no one could do anything about it. The breakfast lines are 20-30 min wait unless you went as soon as they opened. And only one elevator was working so it took forever to get on one to get to another floor. We won’t be coming back. Also the room across from us had a child that screamed no joke 24/7. Remind us to never travel at Christmas again.

Free transport to Disney World: A 50-passenger bus that runs every hour (4 times in the morning) for such a large hotel. Its only quality is that it is close to Disney World. Surprisingly not available when we arrived. Pool in maintenance mode and not available, not even a sign and reception sends us there again. Staff super unfriendly. Of course they don't know Disney World's opening times. Why? Never again!

Absolutely one of my favorite new places to vacation/ staycation (*thanks to my cousin)! It's definitely a little slice of home away from home. Accompanied w several savo0ry on site dinning accomodations from steaks to sandwiches they've got you covered. Conveniently located for shipping, concerts, shows attractions and Orland night life. Just trust me you'll love the luxury, competent and courteous receptionist and meticulously impeccable housekeeping staff.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed by its cleanliness and the consistently friendly service provided by the staff. The rooms were spotless, bed were very comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.

The proximity to Disneyland was a huge plus, making it incredibly convenient for our visit. The shuttle bus service was a fantastic perk, always punctual, and the drivers were exceptionally friendly, which added to the overall positive experience.

However, one aspect that could be improved is the breakfast menu. While the food was decent, the lack of variety made it predictable as it remained the same every day. A bit more variety or rotation in the breakfast options would be greatly appreciated.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, excellent service, and convenient location for those planning a trip to Disneyland.

Buena Vista Suites Orlando is a very nice hotel with a friendly and accommodating staff, ample parking space, and the convenience of guest laundry on both the 1st and 4th floors, with credit card payment options. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable stay. However, one notable aspect was the paid water bottles at $6 each, which seemed a bit steep considering complimentary water is a standard offering in many hotels.

The hotel's location proved ideal, with a mere 10-minute drive to any Disney park and a plethora of dining options in close proximity. However, it's important to note that there is a $50 deposit for each night, which should be factored into the overall cost.

The only disappointing aspect was the repetitive breakfast menu. As a vegetarian, the lack of variety during the entire four-day stay was frustrating. The monotony of potatoes with chili coating, scrambled eggs, a meat option, oatmeal, and standard fruits (apples and oranges, occasionally a banana) became tiresome. A small request to introduce at least one new dish each morning could greatly enhance the breakfast experience, as the current offering doesn't align with the diverse American breakfast culture.

Rooms are nice everything is clean but the pillows and bed and sheets are so tough! Like sand paper and the pillows are so flat all them felt used up like mats. The front lady at the desk 5 am didn’t apologize when I came down to complain. She just called room service and told them to get me new pillows while I wait in the lobby. Instead of making sure I was okay and if there was anything she could do do, she just went back to her office and left front desk empty. The worst night of sleep for my husband and I we were uncomfortable with the pillows mostly! For over $130 a night - the least they could do was make it comfortable.really disappointed here and wish for better accommodation.

Staying there now. The hotel rooms are fine but the internet does not work in our room. I asked the desk for assistance who just referred me to an internet phone helpline who I called 3 times in 24 hours. Whist they assured me they will Look into it urgently I have been there for 2 days without internet in the room and unable to do any work or contact anyone! Not great

Good location if you want to stay around Disney, we stayed for four days, and they served the same breakfast during our stay. Try to book through SAMs for better deals.

For a hotel of this caliber I expected better. The breakfast is very limited and the same every day. It is served on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils and paper cups. The toilets have no brushes, so god forbid you have to go number 2. The toilet paper is 1 ply. Their sister resort right next door is way better.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, but breakfast is not good. No coffee or water in the lobby, would not stay here again.

Great location to all great places to visit in Orlando. Carly at the front desk was amazing.
