Where can I start …let me say first I will be reporting this day care to DCF DUE THEY BROKE HIPPA! By telling me about child in special needs … how they told me the mom or family member not to bring the child back due to they can’t handle the child due to he a special need child. My child was diagnosed a little delayed by she not speaking or have any communication skills so she will seek help by getting speech therapy and communication therapy mind you my daughter is 2 year old.my daughter put everything in her mouth like a normal young 2 year old would.they told me they will give her like a couple of weeks (so many words seems they can’t handle a 2 year old) (by telling me she will get kick out) but if they can’t handle the child due to she very adventurous can’t stand still due to they no structure / no entertainment for her age but having her age group mix with vpk kids that speak and a little more advanced during breakfast and god knows what else after I leave my child with them … before I gave the day care heads up about she delayed and will get therapy help. With speech/communication they treated her fine … no issue but since i had annoced about her situation. I feel they been a change to the workers how they treated her … mind you the director not sure what his name is but he told me I think I should give her medication due to she put everything in her mouth …and she very adventurous she like to explore around! Also I will be reporting this to dcf because what staff members/directors say I need to put my child on medication to calm her down …like who are you.my child is no where near a special need like she doesn’t understand… im very disappointed and made me feel very uncomfortable as a parent I started crying in the car because that hurts that I feel they trying to treat my child differently because she can’t speak yet!
