Restaurant bullig reviews
19Must visit local spot in Fort Myers. You won’t find as yummy of a gourmet breakfast/lunch spot for waffles & coffee as Bullig.
An amazing experience, the nicest staff of all time, especially Jasmine. She went out of her way to grab us waters after we hung around. Just friendly and sweet all the way around, will be back!
This place is way overpriced for what you get. I spent $50 on myself and my 5 year old daughter. I got the Bee-itch with a small 100% cotton and my daughter got a kid’s chocolate milk and a plain waffle with a side of bacon. How was all this $50!? Absolutely ridiculous and not worth the price. Also the food took forever! Won’t be back unless the drop their prices.
Glad to find Bullig. Excellent specialty coffee drinks and food. Would definitely recommend. Overall great atmosphere.
Great waffles and big portions. They have sweet and savory options. The coffee is also delicious. Nice atmosphere and decor.
This place would be closed if it weren’t for the fact that the food is so good. It’s very frustrating to try to get a table here anymore. It’s not even first come first serve, it’s a free for all. We feel like table vultures: watching and waiting to steal a table as soon as it’s free before anyone else. Management has decided that a waiting list is too organized for this free love restaurant. You can sit here for hours, waiting on the edge of your seat, ready to rush a group of restaurant-goers as they stand from their table, hoping to beat all the other hungry hopefuls to the spot. Which is frustrating because everyone is always getting up, because this place makes you order your food at the counter inside. This creates a hectic atmosphere where everyone is hungry and frustrated. It’s disappointing because we love this place but it’s impossible to enjoy it lately.
The staff is incredibly young and the owners have seemingly abandoned them to make decisions on their own. There is no order or system in place. For the expensive prices you have to pay, you are not getting the experience you’ve paid for. We beg the owners to mediate these issues so Bullig can become a Ft. Myers gem once again.
Our waitress took our orders, orders for 7 people. The food all had peculiar names and when our food was brought to the table, The waitresses just put the food in front of each one of us. We started eating, but one of us had not been served yet. When we brought this up to the waitress, she said that one of the orders had been served to the wrong person in our party. We were new there and had no idea what the names of the dishes were. We asked that the person who did not get an order be served what she ordered. The waitress brought her order and then said because it was not a mistake on the part of the waitress, that we had to pay again for that order. It just did not seem like it was our duty to double pay for an order. It was almost $18 so I paid for the extra order just to avoid any further problems, and you're probably wondering if we're ever going to go there again. The answer is an unequivocal no.
Good food but overly priced, $19 for a single a waffle with a few toppings. Expect to pay over $40 for two people for a breakfast that should cost you no more than $30
Bullig is my all-time favorite and comfort spot, in all of Florida. The food, atmosphere, staff, service, and everything has been nothing less than platinum. I’m so grateful to have found Bullig so soon after I moved across the country (6 weeks in?), two years ago, and that it is still like home to me. I have brought all of my family and friends, FL natives or not, and is our number one choice to be at!
Small, cute café with a terrace (unfortunately it's on the main street) - beautifully decorated with lots of German words (menu card) I found it very cute:)
It was definitely worth a visit.
Even though the waffle was very fattening and fatty due to the cheese. My drink was rather too sweet for my taste.
This is easily the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to! I recommend everyone who likes coffee to give it a try. Milk substitutes are FREE! It’s really not much more pricey than Starbucks and it is 100 times better tasting and quality. Staff is all so friendly and I go so often they remember my order. Food is also delicious, but I go as often as I can just to start my day with friendly faces and a heavenly beverage.
A little more on the pricey side, this eclectic coffee shop has really unique coffee offerings and breakfast options. The classic waffle was exactly what we needed with a side of fruit. So fresh! If it were a nicer day, I would have been camped out on their front porch but the inside is super cute and cozy!
This made from scratch quaint breakfast cafe is worth the visit. Hands down the best waffles and coffee I have ever had. I will be back.
Their waffle recipe is incredible, best waffles (and pimiento cheese) I’ve ever tasted. Fun and imaginative waffle menu. Very good coffee beans, the Americano was excellent.
Visited while in town visiting our daughter. Cute little spot next to the Butterfly Estates. Waffles were so light/fluffy and tasty. We had the Omage and Original Gangsta. The Omage had plump Blueberries and the combo with the blueberry and vanilla sauces were fabulous.
The photo was my daughters Original Gamgsta (I had tucked into mine too quickly for a photo)
Make this a stop when I’m Ft Myers.
Very cute brunch place hidden away in a cozy little spot, the best waffles and plenty of delicious choices, and great drink selection with big sizes for those who love coffee.
This hidden gem is SUPER YUMMY! The Oma’s Hug on ice was the perfect way to cool off and hydrate! Worth coming here for breakfast or brunch! Will visit again next time we are in Fort Myers!
Arrive early because this place is popular and for good reason, the food and drinks are outstanding and unique.
We are in town visiting family. When we decided to visit the butterfly gardens today. We were told by the family that the waffle Cafe that is attached to the butterfly garden was delicious.
At first glance this place looks cute quaint full of promise. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and extremely friendly. After that it goes down hill. We ordered our 3 waffles. 45 minutes later my daughter's waffle arrives. We wait another 10 minutes for my husband waffle and another 5 minutes for my waffles. Ridiculous with such a small restaurant that we all can't get our food on time.
Now that food was great. Was it worth waiting a hour for. I don't thinks. We go to pay and it was $70 for 3 waffles and coffee. I was outraged! Then I learned that they tack on 20% onto the bill. Unacceptable for mediocre food and terrible 45+minutes service. They think a few things especially for out-of-towners. Would I recommend this Cafe no!
