Clothing Store Burlington reviews
18Clothes wer jumbled across aisles. Was very hard to find what we wanted with everything mixed up
The customer service was bad because my 2 year old was crying and they told me if he don’t stop, I will be kick out and that what baby’s do they cry.
Amime likes it because it has a variety of things like clothes, shoes, shirts, sweaters, toys, outfits, car things, kitchen things, clothes for women and much more.
Great selection with low prices. The store needs to be organized and cleaned between the racks. This will move 4 stars to 5 stars. I bought a $150 jacket for only $39.99.
My room was never as mess as this place and I couldn't believe how expensive things were. Thankfully citi trends wasn't far and had what I needed. May not be name brand but works all the same. Charging 50 plus for thin hoodies and I get a thicker better one for 13 at citi foh.trash first experience. Everyone else had the same confused look I did maybe people walked off the job that day or something
I spend more time waiting in line, than shopping. They need to hire more people, or have a self check out because a 30 min wait for 1 item to ring out is EXCESSIVE.
Great prices for nice clothing. Agood selection of winter coats. The clothing selection is great and the prices are good. The store is clean.
Name brands at reasonable prices, they have a good selection of household items as well as clothes.
I really enjoy this store with designer clothes for a fraction of the cost! This time I bought two beautiful dresses and a
The cashier ("Supervisor" on her badge) was rude and dismissive. This is the 2nd time she's behaved this way to me - though, I seriously doubt it's personal or that she even recognized me. After the very tail-end of the 1st incident, she fumblingly blamed her attitude on having too few staff members to close that night and offered a half-apology, so I tried to let it go from my mind.
This most recent time was too much: I headed to the check-out line alongside another woman who went ahead. I waited and heard her tell the cashier that she wanted to purchase one comforter but layaway the other. I stood and waited where I was meant to for a few minutes, but realizing her transaction was going to take a while, I set my items at an empty register and began to look at last-minute buys that are merchandised along the line - but *inside* the line.
After another few minutes, a new customer brushed past me and stood where I had been. I gave a brief glance, picked up a gadget I wanted, and walked to retrieve my other items that were *right* in front of her. I stood next to her, and when my time came, the new customer went ahead. I said, "Oh. I was next. These are my things. " The customer gave me a look and started talking about me, and the associate chimed (loudly) in with her. I said, "Excuse me? I was actually next. ". But the associate shouted, "This lady said she was here before you. YOU. WAIT. "
In fact, I wouldn't have minded waiting at all if the associate had been reasonable, even: "Oh, I didn't see you there, let me help her and I'll be right with you. " I tried to explain again, but she cut me off and instead began to speak MORE loudly and MORE over-effusively to woman at the register. The line that had formed in the meantime was looking confused. I let it go until it was my turn.
When I finally walked up, I kept my voice low and said, "That was so unnecessary. " and tried to explain what had happened. She told me that I had *not* been up there before (even though I told her word for word what a long-gone customer had said) and then she snapped, "So - do you want to buy this or not? ! ". I really wanted to say: "Now that you ask - no. I don't. " But I would have only inconvenienced myself. I again told her that she had no reason and no right to be rude, *especially* since I had been respectful, had not yelled, or insisted on pushing ahead.
She made dismissive "m-hmm", "m-hmm", "m-hm" sounds until finally she flung out, "Well. I'm the only one up here tonight. ".
I have observed this same attitude to others, and I have to say, she really ruined what is usually a quiet (love that the store is open so late!) relaxing experience. Honestly, *everyone* else at this location (including the management staff that I've chanced to interact with) has been pleasant and willing to help. This associate? She really does not represent Burlington in any consistently positive way.
Oh. I completely forgot about this: while I was trying to reason with her as she was ringing me up, she (again) talked over me, saying, "You want to make a complaint about it? ! " which threw me off even more because - at this point - she is making it clear that she has the agency to do as she pleases, and if I don't like it? Then I should go complain. I told her (again) that what I *wanted* was for her to stop being dismissive and loud and rude. I really couldn't believe her. Totally steamrolled my night.
Though all of my visits involving other associates have gone well, my review is so low because this person who - according to her own secret determination and measure decides to treat people disrespectfully and has even failed to acknowledge (I'll be right with you") those waiting (45+ seconds and, yes - she saw them) for her to finish straightening up behind the register to be helped - has not improved over time, and seems not to be concerned about consequences.
This place was clutch for last minute back to school shopping. Saved me money and got my kids the brands and styles they love. Win win.
In line cat1pm in the afternoon. 15 people l e in line / 2 slow cashiers? More help needed. There are lots of stock people in t he storenthst could help n up front? This is why people shop online now. Because the help is so slow, people don't have time to stand in line for 20 minutes to buy a few items. Stores will put themselves out of business this way
This place took my daughter off the schedule because she has a disability and could not work at the speed they wanted her to. She was never late and always came to work. She worked as hard as she could and they took her hours and hired a new employee
They have a wide selection of items to look through, at an affordable price. Will be returning!
They could use a better sorting system for the men's clothes; there were a lot of items placed in wrong sections according to their labeling. Otherwise, good selection and great deals!
They were pretty stocked up compared to the last time I was in. They have a variety of good name brand clothes and shoes and with great prices.
Just horrible, Burlington is really struggling. It reminds me of Goodwill.
But. I have faith that it will come back strong.
