I walked through these doors for the first time a beginner with big anxiety, feeling so small. Getting myself to come here for my first class turned out to be the biggest challenge I would faced because as soon as I was here, I felt seen and supported by not just the instructors, but the other students as well. This space is full of beautiful people. I've been taking class regularly for a year now and I'm transformed in both body and spirit.

With such a vast offering of classes - all lead by welcoming, passionate, skilled instructors - you're sure to find growth here. Buttercup is a staple of the pole community in Tampa. Whether you're starting from scratch or you've been poling for a decade, you will enjoy taking class here.

This is my favorite place ever for a workout and some me time! I have been a student for years and never regret coming to class. This is the best thing you can do for yourself. Challenge your body and feel sexy while doing it! Sarah and all of her instructors are awesome!

The studio owner, Sarah, is such a gracious person and will make you feel right at home in the peaceful little slice of paradise she's got going on in her studio quietly waiting for you once you walk through the rowdy Powerhouse Gym. All of the instructors really know their stuff and make the classes so much fun for everyone. There's something for everybody on the schedule and everyone (staff AND students) is so warm and welcoming.

Buttercup isn't just a pole studio, it's a family. A HUGE studio with 3 rooms, not just with poles but also for aerial classes (sling, lyra, silks). The instructors are all great, led by Sarah Jade who is so talented and also the nicest person you will ever meet. There is a huge stage with two competition style x-poles where they host pole shows for students as well as traveling performers (e.g. Bad to the Chrome, Pole Love, Dance Filthy). It's hidden in a gym but don't let that scare you! There is also a Clearwater Beach location, much smaller but great beach vibe:)
