We came in to look, everyone was very nice the office was super clean. Lance the sales consultant helped us and Kim the sales manager did as well, they do not have the titles to there used vehicles. I went to get a new tag on my car and couldn’t, even after the 30 day hold, they sold a car they didn’t have the title to and they swapped the title from my name to someone else’s name then back to my name because they didn’t have the title. I asked lance where was the title and he told me it was electronic and like an idiot I believed him and I got screwed. My best advice would be to stay clear from this dealership as in they are very unprofessional, and obviously do not know how to run dealership

They are always anxious to sell cars but not as anxious to deliver on the service they promise with the sale. I have bought my second Cadillac through this dealership and each time I try to get a service, it is like pulling teeth. They promise either a courtesy car or pick up and delivery service when the vehicle is purchased but when I need that service they find excuses why they cannot deliver on that promise. I have been calling them for the past 10 days to try and get someone to call me back, but it has been futile. I left a message for the general manager today but I doubt if my call will be returned. Never again with this place. I trade every two years but this year will take me to another dealership. Such a pathetic operation in the service department.

Not impressed. Service department for Cadillac doesn't answer the phone (tried for two days) and the parts department employee I spoke to was rude and acted like I was wasting his time by calling.

Shady business practices. Stay away from anything dealing with step one automotive. Update: They called immediately after this review. No resolution, just confirming their bait and switch tactics. After further review, it appears Step One Automotive and Cadillac dealership are in volition of Florida's Deceptive And Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA) : Bait and Switch Schemes.

Do not get your luxury car serviced at this dealership. I have had my Escalade serviced numerous times here and each time the service has been horrible. They have left my car a mess, left their tools inside and never even give you a courtesy call to let you know it’s ready. They tell you they will have it washed and ready and not once have they had it washed and instead offer you a “VIP” car wash written on a business card for the next time! Ridiculous!

My complaint is for the service center. I have brought my car to the center since I purchased the vehicle in 2021, with the exception of one time and it was serviced at a dealership in Birmingham Alabama while I was deployed. Upon my return I took it to fwb service center and then again 3 months later. In June 2023, I took for ac service and oil change/tire rotation. Approximately 1.5 weeks later, I heard/felt a grinding and problems with shifting with driving and the transmission light came on as well. I called and brought it back to them for check. Was told there was a programming issue and agreed to repair. But I thought about a transmission flush. After I suggested a transmission flush, they said oh that was a good call bc the fluid was dark.which was prob the prob that caused my light to come on. Nonetheless, they think it’s repaired with the programming module being reset but oh no, the tech drives the car and notices that the issue is still present. Now, I need my whole front hub system replaced and it’s ok bc it’s covered under the warranty. It gets repaired. I pay for what they thought the problem was anyway. No more than 3 days later, I hear a grind and noise that sounds like my metal is dragging under my car. I take it in to the dealer in Alabama (bc I went to visit my dad for Father’s Day) and the bolts had not been properly screwed in and my wheel bearing was scrubbing against my axle. While the company paid for it (I hope bc the check is supposedly on the way) it’s still infuriated me bc they never have time to wash my car (at least 3x they didn’t and one time my car was there for two days) bc they’re too busy and one time it was bc a tech wanted to go home early (car was done at 130pm). I believe wrongly charged for the programming issue, they did actually improperly repair my car that I drove on the interstate with and I have a 5 year old child. I take my car to the dealership for my Cadillac bc I want things done properly. It still feels like the right side is making a winding noise but I can’t take it back there bc of their negligence and fear that nothing will be done properly. I felt these were supposed to be the experts and specialists with my vehicle. There could have been a really bad outcome bc of a mistake that a layman would have known to do. Everytime I think about what could have happened on the highway, it makes me cringe. And I’m not even sure if my other wheel bearing is properly installed but there is no other Cadillac service center locally.

Came in on Memorial Day 2023, looking for a Cadillac Escalade Esv. I met Karen from sales and she was very helpful and had her customer service game on track. She found the Escalade I saw on their website and we went for an enjoyable test drive. Karen had great knowledge about the difference of packages and was strong on how the CUE system worked.
I did all the initial paperwork and told Karen I would be back in on Wednesday morning to complete the purchase. I showed up Wednesday morning as agreed, Karen greeted me as I entered into the very clean and uncluttered sales floor. We sat down went over all the paperwork once more and she told me that the car was being cleaned again and service was repairing one issue they found during their inspection process. Karen then introduced me to my finance person, Kimberley, who was extremely professional and explained all the documents I was signing. Being in the customer service business as well where first impressions count and doing the correct thing for a now client of this dealership, I was completely impressed. I highly recommend Step One Fort Walton Beach Cadillac if your looking for a vehicle.

Lance Lyles was a wonderful helper. He got me into a 2018 Honda Civic. The Honda civic is looks brand new 80,000 miles and runs perfect.

I had the opportunity to purchase a vehicle from this dealer. I would love to say it was a good experience but unfortunately for me it was a big headache. First off, they posted the vehicle for sale and it wasn't even on their lot. It took a few days to get all the info including pictures about the vehicle. Second, as you can see from the pictures, the vehicle went to service for it's check up and supposed oil change. But no one pointed out nor decided to put screws in so these wouldn't fly off while I'm driving. Third, I had to purchase what should have been optional service called Perma Plate. It was $1,995. When I asked about it the salesman told me it "protect the paint and interior" for as long as you have the car" he also stated it had already been treated prior to me picking it up. So when I called to verify this product the company tells me theirs no record of my purchase. I tried to call, email, etc the dealership to find out but no response. So I drive back there to inquire only to be told they forgot to register it and the one he gave me is only for the paint and last just 5 years. But that wasn't the best part. Since they are a "Step One Dealership" I went to a local store and asked about this product. They told me it was OPTIONAL but only cost $499. My advice to anyone who choices to purchase a vehicle here is to make sure you 1. Have it properly serviced 2. Get everything that is said in writing.

Great experience with Lance Lyles! I bought a new CT5-V that wasn't on the lot yet and we weren't sure whether it would be a couple of weeks or a couple of months before it would be delivered. It was a little nerve-wracking to purchase a brand new vehicle and not being able to drive it off the lot that same day! But Lance went above and beyond keeping in constant contact with me giving me updates. Even coordinating having the windows tinted for me prior to picking it up! If you are looking for a new or slightly used vehicle, definitely go in and ask for Lance! Anybody can sell you a new car but his customer service can't be matched!

We cant say enough great things about this dealership, they went above and beyond for us while we were purchasing our Escalade. We could not have asked for a better experience! I can say I had the most prettiest sales person they had. (Macy) she treated me right. I stop in late one night to look at a truck. She took me to the truck told me all about it and she even showed me how the tail gate works. I was surprised she even know it. Went back next afternoon to test drive it an I had two prettiest lady's go with me on the test drive. End up buy the truck. Big thanks to Macy & Deliala. You to rock

Tyler Bush helped me out BIG time when a dealership was working on my new truck. He went above and beyond to help me find a rental while the work was being done so that I could get to work. You can tell that he genuinely cares and is a hard worker. I would HIGHLY suggest working with him if you have the chance!
