Cafe Boulud, Palm Beach FL

We were hopeful for this restaurant but ultimately disappointed.
We arrived at the reception and were asked if we had reservations. We did not, and the hostesses acted like it was a sin that we arrived without one. They proceeded to walk us out to an almost empty patio, and sat us immediately.

The wait staff seemed attentive at first, and we were greeted by 3 different servers. We ordered mimosas and water. Water came immediately. Mimosas took a while, but finally came. ($18 for some orange juice and champaign is a rip off)

Ordered our food and food for our kids ($17 for a plate of pasta with butter), and the wait began. It wasn't anything complicated, as it was brunch time. Steak & eggs, the pasta for the kids, and a lobster roll.

It took over 20 minutes for the food to come out. The medium rare steak was delivered medium well.

We ate, and were largely left alone other than one quick stop to check in on us after the food was dropped off.

We finished and sat with our empty plates for a long time. I'd say at least 10 minutes. Meanwhile wait staff walked past us almost constantly, with empty hands, no one even attempting to clear our table or checking on us. Two manager looking men in full suits walked by every few minutes, or stood and chatted almost next to our table.

There seemed to be about a 1 to 2 ratio of staff to guests. And I counted no less than 13 empty tables, with maaaaaybe 10 that were occupied. And yet we sat ignored for such a long period of time.

Ultimately I would NOT refer anyone to come here. We are treated better at outback steakhouse than here.

I honestly don't even want to give this place one star! I was going to have my vow renewal here but the manager was so unprofessional, stuck up and ended up basically ghosting me. She never sent the proposals after we looked at the place and were excited. Then she claimed that she had emailed them to my husband, she never had husbands email so. Don't plan to have your special day here, you won't get quality service!

Our group went for the tasting menu and it did not disappoint! Started with some raw oysters which I have never eaten but I knew I had to try it because if it was good French food it would be good annnd they were delicious! Every plate was amazing. We have dined in Paris and a few other Michelin star French restaurants in the US and Cafe Boulud was great. Definitely recommend!

Great food, spectacularly presented. Service so good the waiters sparkle. Decor that simply awes. Fabulous wine list and great help from the Sommelier. Expensive, but worth every dollar.

2020-21: Beautiful terrace which emphasize the beauty of the food and winter Florida paradise. I especially recommend breakfast - little people, bright morning colors, and amazing scones with coffee. Best in this area!

2022 Update: Unfortunately the food and the service went downhill. Not the place it used to be.

Please tell Stephanie and the rest of your staff how much we enjoy dining with y'all! The coconut chia for breakfast is to-die for.

Anniversary dinner superb dining experience with top-notch service quality and food excellent drinks. Highly recommended.

Food ranges from pretty expensive to very expensive but if you weren't expecting that then Palm Beach dining might not be for you. Every time I have been here the food has been amazing and the service outstanding. Would come more often if I didn't live an hour away.

Have been here for dinner a few times for dinner and it is amazing. Great atmosphere and great food. Came for breakfast today and did not disappoint!

Cafe Boulud palm beach at Brazilian Court boutique hotel won't disappoint, sirloin cheeseburger on brioche bun always cooked to perfection, bouillabaisse saffron French fish soup cooked to perfection, lightly seasoned broth with delicate saffron notes, small red potatoes packed with a punch of flavors, grilled octopus cooked to tender perfection on pillows of peppery arugula greens and notes of citrus spears. And to balance a rich meal hibiscus Vacheron with hints of peach. And decadent chocolate mousse cake lined with pillows of pistachios ice cream. Bring your appetite, Boulud won't dissapoint. $$$$

So disappointed with this restaurant. We made reservations in advance for a family dinner tasting menu, provided all specific details on different particular allergies and upon arrival we are told by server and management that nothing was noted and that they cannot accommodate the menu. We came specifically for the tasting menu. What a let down.

Not very good.this place needs help

Sat outside on patio because indoors there was a a strange smell of mildew and cleaning agents.so we decided to sit on the patio big mistake.got eaten up my noseums.sand fleas.we returned our food.escargot had no flavor.my friend got the steak.she sent it back.it
had no seasoning.she tried to add salt and pepper.no help.she said the
Steak was tough and that it tasted old. Had to flag down the waiter.he wasnt very good either.two Managers walked by several times did not ask how our food was.very mediocre.if Daniel boulud knew about the quality and substandard food. I think he would be very upset.my friend then asked for the sea bass.menu stated it was spicy.it was not.finally we get our bill and the steak was still on there.boy its exhausting to eat out.

Shocking. We have a baby and they refused a table. So much drama. First into a completely empty restaurant with not one customer. Rude. Unprofessional. Sad really as I was one of their best customers and a regular with at least a 10k a year spend.

This place is delightful!
The drinks were to die for and the presentation beautiful. The food was just phenomenal; every thing we ate was extremely delicious and full of amzing and well paired flavors! The atmosphere is romantic and intimate great for celebrations and dates. I absolutely recommend this place!
