If you are coming to eat here you have to ask for Tatiana because she is the best sever here. And if you have someone else you have to ask for Tatiana because is the goat. Food is amazing but love her more

Great location and atmosphere. When we were ready to order the waiter told us the drinks were buy one get one free. The drink menu indicated that all cocktails were $16 each. So two of us ordered a strawberry daiquiri and a Margerita. When we got the bill these drinks were priced at $34 each and were more than what was on the menu. When we questioned the waiter he informed us that the drinks on the menu were regular sized drinks and these were 32 oz. Very deceptive practice to get the customer to pay more. Why were these items on the menu.

Calamari is very crispy
Lobster is very fresh
Fish hamburger is yummy

Birthday lunch gone wrong, Personally ordered my food with the waiter. Then the waiter decides to switch the food without my consent, unknowingly Waited over an hour, while everyone in my party was eating. I had nothing to eat. Then they come back and they messed up my food again. So I decided to end the stay. Manager was rude as hell. Don’t waste money or come here. Service is horrible unless you want to wait over an hour for food and then have the manager be rude is appalling to me. Spend the money somewhere else.

Beware of the 2 for 1 Happy Hour drink "specials"-ridiculously outrageous prices for jumbo alcoholic beverages even with that "special", and our drinks were mediocre at best. In our party of five, four of us ordered an appetizer only, while one of us ordered a sandwich with fries. The food was bland, tasted/appeared to have been previously frozen (crab cakes/fries) and nowhere near matched the value of its cost. They do not disclose this prior to ordering, but they build in a gratuity for, as our server explained, "the front and back of the house.bartenders, cooks, kitchen staff, etc, and if you'd like to leave a little extra something for me, I'd appreciate it, but if not, I still love you". When questioned, our server looked and acted awkwardly uncomfortable telling us about that built-in gratuity, which was over $46.00 on a bill of $242.00. They have an employee who walks around, asks to take your picture, then shortly after returns to your table with a framed photo costing $20.00. There's nothing so enjoyable, unique and memorable about Cafe Del Mar that requires a $20.00 photo to remember it. Overall, this dining experience left our group feeling disappointed, and taken advantage of. We will not go back and I cannot recommend Cafe Del Mar as a place to eat or drink.

Definitely a tourist trap. I have been there with my wife and kid. We have ordered chicken nuggets, virgin cocktail and two happy hour cocktail which have been huge but most of the volume was ice and also double the price compared to regular drinks from the menu. Cherry on top was 28% gratuity charge on receipt without any previous consent. NEVER AGAIN!

Tourist trap! Food week at best, extremely expensive for what they offer and gratuity for 3 people mandatory almost 30$ for lunch

Nickel and dime me on everything. Gratuity was added on of $11 dollars was not happy about forced charge and then they want to tip on top of it. Mussel shells was great! Pasta dish was horrible.
