I was invited to the youth group here by a friend, and loved it so much! Pastor Jackson was super welcoming and made us feel comfortable. The service and worship was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!

Elder Steve Slesinger is a fake Christian. Incredibly rude to me when I wanted to sing in the church. He didn't want me to sing and talked down to me. Also, there are a few in leadership in the music ministry who are fake as well (Jonathan).

The situation with Pastor Mark's departure has generated a strong and sometimes hateful wave of comments both here and on social media. My husband and I attended CCM for many years and know what a great teacher Pastor Mark is! He is loved in the community. I believe, however, that we should all be careful about the words of judgement spoken against the pastors, elders and staff at Calvary. The devil likes nothing more than to see ugly comments thrown around.
Jesus is still in control and His divine authority and grace will prevail! The Lord can restore CCM and continue to expand His Kingdom. Meanwhile Pastor Mark is now teaching a large bible study and discovering new and awesome plans the Lord has for him!
The discord at CCM seems to indicate that all in authority could not agree on what the Holy Spirit was directing in terms of leadership changes. But even the most faithful pastors, elders or Pastor Mark himself can face challenges when discerning what the Holy Spirit is directing. Remember.we have heard Pastor Mark say that many times! They are human like us and subject to the same things we all face as Christ Followers. We cannot assume that what we think should have happened is correct. The Lord will handle all things according to His divine Providence and only Jesus truly knows the hearts of those involved.

We should all guard our tongues for our own spiritual protection. The Bible says let he who is without sin cast the first stone. As Christ Followers we are called to be the example for others!

Please.let's pray for God's blessing over Pastor Dave and all the pastors/leaders at Calvary, pray for Pastor Mark and Linda and his Bible study, pray blessings of unity and protection over the church body as a whole! Let's do the praying and leave the judging to our merciful and just Lord Jesus.

'Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand. '
Romans 14: 4

I live two hours away but love to come here to worship every time I visit my sister that lives in Palm Bay. Everyone here makes you feel so welcome. Such a wonderful and genuine church.

This is a very beautiful building and you can feel the Lord when you enter. The band is great and tries to do popular songs. You get a warm feeling when you enter.

I have been attending CCM for 12 years, I believe the church has moved in the right direction. Pastor Dave and the elders have done a great job. I will continue to remain faithful to God and his Church. Maranatha!

CCM has been our church since 1997 and even when we moved away to Georgia for 3 years. We could not find a church that could even come close in comparison. We moved back home to Florida. When Pastor Mark was relieved as Pastor of the church, we like many others, were totally confused. I followed the lead of the church office and contacted one of the elders! That didn’t give any relief for our confusion, but I was told to be patient more would come out soon and pray. That conversation was August 3rd. Nothing has yet explained the situation, but I understand that Pastor Mark was met at the door with his personal belongings and told to not even set foot in the parking lot. Some of the elders stood up front to make the original announcement and to state Pastor Mark had done nothing wrong, but this was for his good. How can silencing a man that has spent a lifetime serving and presenting God’s Word be for his good and even denying him the privilege of attending the church that he started?
Personally, I feel the action of those involved in the decision making of removing a Man of God from the pulpit was the result of receiving their prayer answers from Satan. Satan has created a division in a once happy God fearing church. We will not attend and have pulled our tithes. We will not support a church that we feel is being led by Satan.
God bless and we pray for CCM daily.

I actually stopped going to Calvary Chapel BECAUSE of Pastor Mark. I didn't like the way he would tell people in the congregation that they would go to hell if they didn't act the way he said. He started to come off as arrogant and controlling. He also seemed to get very full of himself. I've actually considered coming back since he's been gone. I liked some of the other pastors.like Pastor Dave! I think the Elders made the right choice!

I’ve been going to CCM for almost 6 years and love it. Even though it is a large church it doesn’t feel that way. They offer so many ways to get involved and connect with others.

It’s a wonderful place to worship. Fantastic music, great messages, a fabulous kids program and you can feel the Spirit working there as soon as you enter.

I was turned down to get counseling and turned down for a job in this church. I never experienced a church for turning down people who needed help. What does this church represent? Jesus Christ did not turn anyone down who needed help!

My wife and I will no longer support this church in anyway. Shame on you elders for kicking a man of God of almost 30 years that build this church. You elders should be ashamed how you force him out. And you’re supposed to be all about God. I don’t see this as a GOD move, BUT a elder move. My wife and I has supported this church for quite some time, And we loved it and enjoyed Pastor Mark‘s teaching. If the man wants to stand up in front of the pulpit and teach until he falls over dead. Then he would have died doing what he did best bringing people to the Lord

I am disappointed, saddened, I'm quite frankly angry with the elders removing Paster Mark. I learned more from Pastor Mark than anyone else in my 69 years. He is why I went to that church. I want to know where he'll be preaching and that's where I will go. I have not attended since the day that announcement was made in a cold and matter of fact manner. How dare you feel that you know what's best for all of the people. You obviously have no understanding of the love and gratitude people have for him. If anyone can tell me where I can go to continue to hear Pastor Mark, please tell me.

If CCM treats their senior pastor by firing him, while telling the congregation he went on a sabatical, how will they treat individuals in a manner that God would approve? Jesus always treated others in a loving manner. The elders will be judged according.

Don't bother asking elders or church workers, they have all been instructed to tell the same response "It was done according to scriptures". There was no love in the way that was done. Had all the makings of a firing. He wasn't even allowed to address the congregation himself. I know some of you close to him will not hear anything from Pastor Mark. I'm sure there is a severance attached to a Non Disclosure Agreement. That was dirty Elders. Take responsibility for the outcome.

I can not believe they fired Senior Pastor Mark, the elders should be ashamed of themselves for handling it like this. If anyone knows where Pastor Mark will be teaching please let us know so we can continue to learn from him.
