This was an incredible experience. If you thinking about doing it don’t think twice and just do it you won’t regret it. The staff was incredible and they take all precautions.

This was an amazing and safe experience. Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable about the sharks and the water. A once and a life time experience. I love calypso dive charters!

I’ve had my best dives on this charter! My friends and I come out and do some deep sea wreck exploring, mostly training. It’s always a good time. I go straight into dive mode. Never miss a beat!

Best in the biz! Top notch service all around. Extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. 10/10 would recommend.

I spent two days diving with Reyna and captain Cory and they did at amazing job making sure we got to the baited shark dive in otherwise rough seas. The experience was fantastic and will be going again. The reef dive the next day was gorgeous and very knowledgeable and fun.

This was my first time snorkeling with the sharks and it was a great experience. I'd say it's a 3-in-1: you start with a nice boat ride, a quick briefing, during which you learn a lot about sharks, and then finally the snorkeling itself.

I can reassure the faint-hearted that it's a safe experience and you'd better worry about having seasickness than swimming with the sharks. You can take some medication (gravel) before you set off or some electrolyte drinks to keep you hydrated. Trust me, you don't want to learn this the hard way in the middle of the ocean.

Depending on the season you can expect to see different types of sharks. I visited Florida in July and we saw Silky and Sandbar sharks.

Also, I wanted to give special thanks to Luis and Katie. They are a great team and will ensure you have the best experience.

This is the second time I’ve used Calypso and it was just as awesome as the first. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I booked a charter for a small group and they all had a blast. Shoutout to the entire crew, it’s been an awesome trip, can’t wait to come back again.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Such an epic experience from start to finish. Our Captain, Luis let us know in advance the seas would be rough and was willing to offer a refund if we were prone to sea sickness or didn’t feel comfortable going out that day. This is a gesture that I have not often seen and we were so appreciative, but nothing could stop us from going out to see sharks with them that day (even sea sickness)! The boat ride itself was wonderful, we received our briefings and had time to chat with their 5+ star crew! We got to our first site- Lemon Drop, where we were greeted by two friendly lemon sharks- a species I have been dying to get in the water with- and they absolutely exceeded our expectations! We were able to get so close to these beautiful animals while feeling safe under the watch of our guide Rayna. I cannot say enough good things about this operation, and am looking forward to my next dive with them! I will be highly recommending Calypso Dive Charters to everyone I know!

Great crew! I really liked how they operate on a smaller scale with only 6 divers on the boat. Really appreciated their flexibility surrounding our dive trip. Originally we were hoping to shark dive with them but logistics on our end prevented that. We enjoyed the shallow reef dives with them to allow our friends the chance to join us.

My son had an amazing experience snorkeling with the sharks! The captain and Hannah were so helpful! They obviously had safety as their top priority but they also made sure he got the best shot at snorkeling with the sharks! Every min of the 2.5 hours spent was worth it. The boat ride was amazing, everything was well organized, small group so they could focus closely on each person. Can’t wait to come back, hopefully for a dive with Calypso next time. Keep up the amazing work!

Always a great dive with Calypso! Great service, helpful and safety conscious! I have done two reef dives, and plan to do more sooner than later.

Louis and his mighty shark guides were incredible! So kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful. We loved our time with the bull sharks and lemons. It was a dream come true for my 12 year old shark enthusiast son.

I had a blast furst and foremost. It was a choppy day making for a difficult dive, but the staff was very helpful and accommodating from helping me don my wetsuit to helping me find the best ways in and out of the water and assisting me with a faulty snorkel. I have an autoimmune disease that causes great pain and sometimes makes moving around difficult. The staff went above and beyond helping me have the time of my life!

Great dive with Calypso! Buddy couldn't make it and they were able to accommodate by letting me stick with the guide. Friendly, knowledge, and personable crew, as well as a smaller charter, so it felt more like a private charter. Highly recommend and would dive with Calypso again!

My son and I dove with the Calypso crew a few days ago. They promised sharks and they delivered. What I appreciated most was their concern about the health of the animals and the ocean in general.

From the ridiculous instructors' reasoning to baiting sharks to the rude captain who seems to suffer from some type of god complex to the trash talking other dive shops was the most unprofessional dive operation that I've ever seen in over 40 years of diving. The bloated egos we're sickening and undeserved. It beats the hell out of me how they ever get 5 stars unless they're manipulating their reviews through Google. I would advise all serious divers to explore other options.
FWC:
Feeding fish, sharks, or other marine species while diving or snorkeling is prohibited. It is also prohibited to operate a boat that is hired to carry passengers to any area within state waters to engage in fish feeding while divers are in the water.

After 4-5 days of bad weather we dove before leaving town on a 12 hour drive. Not disappointed at all with Calypso. Conditions were not great, but everyone at Calypso worked to make it a great day getting wet. Had three 3 lemon sharks on first dive and 2 reefs on second. That was plenty and it was a blast. Book with confidence.
