Calypso Resort and Towers (Towers I & II), Panama City Beach FL

My favorite place in Panama City. Very family friendly, nice new building, wonderful view, and very close to Pier and downtown area with restaurants and entertainment. Always enjoy my stay here.

Calypso went above and beyond what we were expecting. They have a beautiful, wonderful staff who are very attentive to your needs. We can't say enough of how good they are! We will definitely be returning soon!

This condo is great. The building is in excellent condition, and the elevators are quick and there seems to be enough of them that we don't wait too long. The location couldn't be better. Beach front and close to Pier Park and many shops and restaurants.

Stayed in tower 3 on the 22nd floor, views were amazing, stayed in a 3 bed 2 bath plenty of room and can walk to pier park in about 5 minutes

We had some minor problems, and they fixed them in under 25 minutes! The proprty manager then stopped by to see if all repairs were done! Thanks!

Great location great view. Room was very dated and kinda dirty and stuff in the room didnt work

Stayed in East Tower. Overall very nice. Loved the view and that the rooms come with chairs and an umbrella already set up on the beach. Also loved that there is an extremely long pool on either side of the tiki bar. BUT the room could use a little maintenance and attention. The water in the laundry room/boiler room ran continuously. The water pressure was sub par at best and there were a few minor damages that could use attention. Other than that it was well worth the.

Nice view, pools (2), and outside bar. Bar closes early around 5. Rooms were adequate, fixtures in need of repair, but were functional.

Very clean, only thing I can think of is.if they tell you tower 1.it's East tower 2 is West.

Rented 1 bedroom through VRBO-first floor unit. Clean unit, comfortable, great hosts-everything needed for a wonderful vacation. Walking distance to delicious restaurants and entertainment. Large beach area, three pools, and cots/umbrella service.

Our unit was great and the location of calypso is great. However, the resort itself was frustrating. Unless you want to go on vacation and NOT be able to drink, have snacks, or a cooler inside the gate of the pool then don't stay here. Pool rules were so ridiculous and every single person was complaining about it. I've never stayed at a resort where you can't bring snacks or drinks to the pool. And I'm not talking about physically in the pool, you cant even have them at your pool chair. Don't have a tiki bar 5 feet from the pool if you cant bring your drinks inside. No footballs, floats, noodles, or anything like that were allowed in the pool either. If you want to go to the pool and bring nothing but your towel then this is the place for you. I will not be staying here again.

Stayed in 3rd tower room 1907. Awesome location easy walking distance to pier park and beach. Condo is well equipped and professionally decorated. Favorite spot is the balcony sunset views.

The pool rules change daily … responsible adults can’t sit at a table at pool and have a beverage! I felt like I was being harassed every other day! Rules on Sunday so very different than rules and Wednesday! Security is ridiculous …. Lackadaisical one day and balls to the walls the next day. This is my last stay here at the Calypso and I’ve never J been treated so badly at the pool. I will never ever be back.

Booked through best beach getaways. Best experience ever. Condo stocked with zero issues. No contact check in. Beach chair service. Perfect. All of it. Will return

We loved Calypso. Easy walk to so many restaurants and Pier Park. The common areas were always clean and well taken care of. We will definitely be back to the Calypso Resort but not that particular condo.

The room was ok. There was literally nothing though. No beach towels or anything. Not even coffee filters. Which sucked when you're renting for only a long weekend and have no idea what filers are needed. All but 1 of the elevators were down and we were on the top floor in room 2309. The wifi also didn't work in the room. When attempting to address any of these problems we couldn't get a hold of anyone and when we did they still did nothing to solve it. On the plus side the view was amazing and the walk to the beach was perfect. Might stay there again but in a different condo but even that's iffy. The elevators being down was a huge inconvenience especially when you're waiting 30+ minutes for one

We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit every evening. The only place we will stay at PCB.
