Camden Central Apartments, St. Petersburg FL

Camden Central has been a great experience so far. It is always very clean and the staff is very helpful and nice. Tasha Ramos the leasing consultant helped us find the perfect apartment and helped us through the leasing process.

I recently toured Camden Central Apartments for my partner and I as we’re looking to move to the DTSP area. Danielle was absolutely phenomenal and had answers to all of our questions. While we ended up leasing elsewhere this building leaves a lasting impression and is absolutely beautiful. Would 10/10 recommend adding this property to your list if you’re looking to move to the area.

Very professional operation. The apartments are a nice size and the amenities include all the features you expect from a luxury apartment building Our leasing agent Danielle was friendly and enthusiastic. Centrally located. We did not choose to rent here simply because the type of unit and floor plan we wanted was available at a different building. Regardless, this was among our top three favorite buildings in downtown St. Petersburg

Natasha was a wonderful host and was very helpful for our tour! The building is beautiful and everything meets our standards! Very excited for my girlfriend to be living here and glad she will be around such a nice and safe environment!

Living here is like living in a luxury hotel. The management specially Tasha Ramos is the best. Concierge is also amazing.

Positives: Super convenient to grocery store (1 block), bars, restaurants, highway, etc. One of the best gyms in this building I have ever seen in any condo/apt complex in many years across the 8 states I have lived in. Very, very nice pool area with sauna, hot tub, etc. Clean building and good response to service requests. Helpful concierge on duty most of the day and early evening 7 days a week.
Negatives: Hidden fees in your rent so inquire before you sign (about $200 a month or more if you have a bigger apt.), You have to buy the cable/internet, it is mandatory and you pay for parking your car in their garage. Horrendous guest parking and they won't do anything to monitor it. Weekends your guests will not find a space unless they are lucky. The leasing office literally never answers your phone. They invite you to text and then it takes them a day to respond. By then, what's the point if it's urgent? VERY NOISY area! This isn't CAMDEN's fault, but I can't stress enough how many sirens you'll hear each day going down 8th street mostly, but all around the building. I call it Siren Central! I have white noise while I sleep, but I work from home and I have counted 16 sirens in one day and they are loud. Maybe it's because of older folks in St. Pete, but the decibel level is higher than normal. Forget about having a door or window open. Also, loud car music, exhausts, motorcycles etc.because this building and those buildings across make a noise tunnel. And, you better love dogs! Dogs are everywhere in this building (dozens so you are in the elevators with them and people let them run down the halls, barking in their apartments, etc.).
Regarding the response by property management during the hurricane, they had power to some things in the building. You would think they would have power for essentials for people stuck here. The rent is exorbitant (my one month rent alone could buy a big generator) and they can buy a generator for emergencies. You know something to power maybe the store (which is the size of a small bedroom) and for charging stations to help people charge their cell phones. I couldn't charge a cell phone anywhere in the building. This is unacceptable to me. Keep power on in the store so people have necessities and keep power on in the lounge so we can charge phones.

We just moved in and have had a great experience so far. Danielle MacNeil, and the rest of the leasing office staff were super helpful and made our move so much easier. The community feels super well run and has tons of great amenities. We love our apartment and new home.

Living at Camden Central was a two year pleasant experience! It was like living in a luxury hotel. The building, the 24 hour gym, the pool and spa area are immaculate! The management shines through in organization and cleanliness! Camden was a perfect temporary home! The manager of the property Brittany is a special person!

I moved into Camden Central a few months ago and I couldn't have asked for a better place to live. Brittanie Stanley (Manager) is incredibly helpful and friendly, as are the rest of the staff/concierge. The building is beautiful and the pool is huge and includes a hot tub, whirl pool and sauna/steam room. All the best restaurants and bars in downtown St. Pete are within walking distance. I highly recommend.

Unprofessional property. When I toured, Danielle the leasing agent was very rude while asking questions about my income to see if I qualify which was the only questions that was asked when I arrived. I seen roaches all over. She also admitted she would never live there, only work there. The cleanliness in this building is not up to date. And I will not be moving here.

I love this place. I had a lease there for a year and loved it as a 2nd property in tye st Pete area

We lived at Camden Central for over three years - first in a three-bedroom apartment and then in one of the spacious townhomes before recently moving to suburbia. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the building is kept in tip-top shape. For proximity to great dining, shopping and night life, the location can't be beat.

I toured all the buildings downtown, but no one was like Tasha Ramos. She answered all my questions, both during tour and after. The amenities, apartment and all the staff are really good. It was an easy choice

I made a service request and the next day they were there to fix the issue. I was very pleased with how fast they responded. Thank you so much to the camden Central team you guys are the best especially Natasha who has been so helpful in helping me get settled in my new place…I really do enjoy living here…. The Camden Central is like living in a resort. It is beautiful and has a boat load of Amenities…. And I have met some wonderful people here

Highly recommend living at Camden! When I first moved to St Pete I toured many buildings and have to say nothing else currently in the area compared. The staff is very much on top of things (shoutout to Tasha and Brittanie for always answering my emails) and the amenities and full time concierge really make you feel like you’re living in a hotel.
