Camp Bow Wow reviews
19We love Camp Bow Wow! Our pup doesn't even look back when we drop her off, all of the employees seem great, you can watch the dogs on webcams, and I bring my girl home happy and tired!
Absolutely unique place where pets and their parents are taken care of:
Before leaving my dog here for a couple of days, we were given the opportunity to test this place for half a day and our Indy also passed the test. The entire staff is very caring and all the dogs here are physically and mentally healthy, so your pet is in good hands.
The way you take care of them, keeping them entertained with other dogs seems great to me, the fact that you can see them through the camera is great.
My little guy loves this place. His first time ever at daycare or an overnight stay. He was well cared for, and the staff seem to really love the all the doggies. Will definitely return.
I had my pups go there about a year ago and they seemed to always have in for my dog. They told me shes too much, barks too much, is over the too playing. They ended up always putting her in "time out" for one reason or another. I took her again recently, and she had to redo the interview and "failed" because she over corrected a dog that tried to mount her. They said she is borderline aggressive. Please then don't let another dog mount her. She also acted scared once I picked her up and brought her home. It took a while for her to act normal. So I am not sure what happened once she "over reacted" but she didn't act like her self for hours. Never going here again and I will never recommend.
I loved the personal treatment offered by Camp Bow Wow Pensacola. From initial contact, to Harper's interview and beyond to contact with a trainer, everyone we've interacted with has listened to my concerns and answered questions patiently. I feel that they all truly care about the Campers and their families. I also appreciate the variety of services offered at very affordable rates.
Love this place! The staff are so nice and accommodating and they did such a great job grooming my dog!
My dog Coco and I use Camp Bow Wow in Pensacola. We love it there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We got training there also from Sam…terrific. The place is clean and fresh and the dogs all seem to have a good time.
Camp Bow Wow is the only place I trust for our fur baby. She did a whole 2 weeks and our groomer did a fabulous job on her deshedding. I love that these options are available. She is a Montana HUSKY who was forced to move to Florida so you can imagine her relief.
The care our dog experiences every time gives us comfort when we travel and he’s not able to go with us. As soon as he sees his travel bag, he sits at the door ready to go. Dog are a great judge of character and his actions show how much he loves it. We recommend Camp Bow Wow to everyone we know because of the exceptional care they consistently provide.
Oscar Geno loves it! Great team! They love him and care for him according to his specific needs!
Friendly, caring staff, easy to set appointments and schedule visits, convenient location.
My fur baby has gone to Camp Bow Wow twice now. Each time she got kennel cough. They do not clean the facility properly, if they did she wouldn’t be sick every time she goes. They do require the vaccine, but as my vet puts it… the vaccine is helpful for a particular strand of kennel cough, and the strand she gets isn’t under what the vaccine covers (kind of like the flu) he said many of his patients that go there end up sick from camp bow wow. We definitely won’t be going back.
Dedicated to only boarding and daycare for dogs with long hours of human and other dog contact unlike a vet clinic which boarding is not their primary purpose with short hours and most vets also board cats. Love the hours 7 days a week for more flexibility for pick up and drop! Great access to the airport or interstate for travel from this location. Great atmosphere, Wonderful owners at the Pensacola facility who truly care about the dogs and their boarding/daycare experience! You can tell the staff truly love dogs and know how to interact with them plus a wonderful groomer who does a fantastic job on our 3 standard poodles which is not an easy task! Trainers also available and one on one play time if requested. Love the cameras so I can check in on them which makes me know they are safe and loved while I am away!
I love that somebody’s always present, watching and taking care of the dogs. I can look at the cameras anytime and watch my pup play. The best part is that my dog comes home happy and well-exercised.
One of the staff members was very unprofessional when I let her know i overheard her making negative comments about my pet. I feel they have too many dogs in one room. Not sure why they don’t open the other room I have never seen them use. They dismissed my pet after an incident that another dog started. Never saw dogs have access to outside areas.
They are so kind and and I love there are cameras so you can check on your baby whenever you leave them there whether for the day or overnight.
We love how excited our dog is every time he goes there. Being able to see him on the cameras during the day is comforting. The staff is always very attentive and friendly.
Highly recommend! My dog has a great time and I trust she is in good care while she is there.
