Caña Restaurant and Lounge, Miami FL

Cuban food is my #1, and I make it a mission to eat as much as possible from holes in the wall to fiber dining any time I’m in Miami - usually for weeks at a time.

I was skeptical how good a hotel restaurant’s Cubano could be but they proved me wrong. One of the best I’ve had, especially the crunch of their bread. Ended up eating their Cuban sandwich 3 times in 3 weeks.

The only negative is that they don’t have Moros rice or boiled yucca - I could do without the fries as the side, and that makes the $18 cost a little stiffer.

Understaffed. After waiting for a while for the host/hostess a busgirl told me to seat wherever. I sat and waited.
. Waited.
. Waited, and got tired of waiting so I left.
Walked to a nearby restaurant where I was greeted at the door, taken to my table, and serviced promptly.

Located at the Hyatt Brickell in Miami, it was convenient for us to just pop in for breakfast. My breakfast was the Americano and it was good. I also had a mimosa. While the restaurant was nice, clean and bright and the food was good, I wish I could say the same about the service: (
It was about a 3 hr ordeal. We had to chase our server for orders as she barely came by. Orders were wrong. We asked for 3 separate bills and they were wrong twice and that alone took 45 min to fix.
Im hoping it was just a bad morning due to being short staffed etc. Will try again tomorrow and give it another chance

Bad fishy conch fritters compared to previous visits.
Burnt fry’s but they replaced.
No service but bartender helped with order taking.
Ketchup served in packets like fast food places.
Not Cuban food at all. Almost no traditional Cuban dishes.

Hidden gem of a restaurant with delicious food and a nice vibe! I absolutely loved the churrasco skirt steak with chimichuri and veggies

We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Brickell prior to our cruise, and while I was not very impressed with the hotel, I can definitely say that Caña Restaurant is superb! We had the Vaca frita and the Lechón asado; these dishes were both delicious, tasty, and nice large portions. Our server was Irka and she was very kind, she recommended vaca frita for my daughter who wasn't sure what to eat, and she nailed it! Thank you Irka for your excellent customer service!

I was staying at the Hyatt Centric on Brickell Bay Road and decided to try their Cuban restaurant Cana. All i can say is WOW! Upon exiting the elevators, you enter a very chic establishment. They have indoor or outdoor seating which is nice. The bar is in the center. It the perfect size. They have big windows and a selection of booth and tables. I actually dined there twice. Once for lunch where i had the power lunch for $12. I got the fish, beans and rice with a soft drink for $12. That was an insanely low price for this lunch. The fish was grouper and it was cooked to perfection with a lemon butter and caper sauce. My mouth was singing! The service was good. Each server is really busy but you should expect that and appreciate them just being there. I went a second time for dinner and ordered the dinner portion $32. I ate every bite! They can cook fish so well and this time i tried the flan dessert. It was mouth watering and very authentic. I plan on visiting Miami often and will return whether i stay at The Hyatt Centric or not. Thumbs up for delicious food and great service.

When you get off the elevator into the place the vibe is great. The food was amazing, the drinks reminded you that you were on vaction. The desserts on point. The host Felipe was an amazing host making our experience even better.

Such a lovely spot! Great service, nice ambiance, but most importantly the FOOD! Omg the Burrata with Guava was just the perfect combo of sweet and salty. We ordered the tostones rellenos with shrimp and they were excellent. Topped off our lunch with vaca frita and wow, just perfect.
We def will be back!

Nice gem of a restaurant tucked into a hotel. I was surprised to the upside in terms of how delicious the food was and how great the overall vibe is, with beautiful spacious interior. Big fan of the porch deck seating, great way to enjoy food outside in the lovely Miami weather. Ive now been here for 3 meals- dinner (pollo asado), power lunch (Masas de Puerco) and breakfast (classic eggs and bacon, cafe con leche). Caña really is a great option for folks who live here in Brickell.

The food was so good, octopus and scallops were amazing, even side of rice and beans was delicious, best chicken I ever had.

Ok place if you are looking for a meal within this hotel. You could find more better options in that area, but as they do not charge too much, it is still acceptable.

I celebrated my birthday at this beautiful restaurant. The wait staff was amazing! The service was professional and very friendly. The manager was very attentive and visited the table several times. The food was cooked perfectly and was served at the correct temperature!
This place is a must!

Me and my boyfriend wanted to take a little vacation and we stayed at the Hyatt Centric Brickell for a couple of nights and let me tell you… the hotel was amazing, it is perfectly Locatel in the heart of brickell so you can literally walk everywhere, everything is clean and beautiful, staff is super nice! But the biggest highlight of our stay was cañas restaurant! We had breakfast the two mornings we were here for and I can’t explain how AMAZING their pancakes are. They are PERFECTION! Best taste, best texture, best size. Literally the best pancakes I ever had in my life! My boyfriend and I tried them the first morning and we could not wait for breakfast the next day just so we can have them again!
We went to the popular and fancy restaurants in Miami and honestly NOTHING had us like caña did! Amazing service and hotel! I’m not even the one to leave reviews but this one deserves one!
