Cano Health - Brandon reviews
18I don't what I would do without Cano Health. I have received the best care and with the friendliest staff I have ever come across. Dr Molina is wonderful. I highly recommend Cano Health to anyone that wants or needs great medical care.
This is the worst experience I have ever had with a provider. If you can avoid going to this place, please do so. I’ve been having issues with my lymph nodes where I’ve been feeling extreme discomfort and I presented the issue to Dr. Molina on my very first appointment with her. She felt my lymph nodes and specifically stated “ I do feel a mass in that area but don’t worry it could be a cause of anything ” Being that I’m 3 months pregnant, she basically told me that there’s nothing she can do for me since I’m considered a “ special patient “ and stated that I must speak with my OBGYN regarding this matter and sent me on my way. Although she specifically used the term “ mass “ with me to describe what she had felt, she did not actually put that term in my note file. I later found out that she actually put in my notes, I have no issues in my lymph node area. After feeling extreme discomfort, not being able to talk with excess saliva forming in my mouth I later decided to go to the ER for an X-ray and ultrasound in that area. The ER doctors stated that my although my thyroid appears large in size, it seems normal. However, regarding my lymph nodes, they did see that they were in fact swollen and recommended I see an ENT since there is nothing they can further do for me at the ER. I HAVE BEEN CALLING CANO HEALTH SINCE MARCH 24TH FOR A REFERRAL FOR THE ENT DOCTOR as per my insurance a referral is needed and I’ve been calling EVERY DAY SINCE MARCH 24TH and they have been DRAGGING THEIR FEET WITH THIS REFERRAL! I’ve spoken to SO MANY CARE TEAM MEMBERS and I’ve gotten a different response about the referral from EVERY PERSON I SPOKE TO! My appointment for the ENT is today APRIL 3RD at 11AM and it seems like I’ll be missing that appointment unfortunately due to this issue. Unfortunately that ENT office which is the only office that takes my insurance are usually booked out and don’t have availability within the same month, they normally have appointments available 2-3 month out. So it appears I would have to wait another 2-3 months in EXTREME DISCOMFORT for another appointment, all while being pregnant! This office has caused me GREAT STRESS AND ANXIETY in my pregnancy because I am not being heard or taken serious as a patient! I am also African American, going to a predominantly Hispanic primary care doctor was also not a good experience because it seems as though you must either be Hispanic or speak Spanish in order to receive the professionalism that you deserve! I would not even rate this office or this staff a one star but I had no choice! If I did have a choice I would be giving them 0 stars! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!
It look 2-3 months to even make a New Patient appointment. The call center told me 2: 45pm, then the front desk told me my appointment was 2: 00pm!
I asked her if I was still being seen and she was unresponsive. The MA brought me back and rushed me through like cattle and I couldn’t keep up as she was basically running through the halls. The Nurse Practitioner was unprofessional, didn’t thoroughly listen to my thoughts/concerns. The office inside was unorganized and felt sketchy and I had difficulty with the entire staff trying to understand their language. I won’t be returning, ever.
If you can get another dr do so because there horrible on theee different ocasión i call to set a appointment. I hace multiple conditions and they never have appointment available. If you are in pain you have yo wait 2 Months to see a dr.
My PCP closed to my home. Pick up and return to home with insurance staff is wonderful to be with. Friendly and professional
I called on three separate occasions prior to going to my appointment to get a referral. Got to my appointment and no referral. Had to wait 2 hours after several phone calls and then going to the office before they got it right. It was a headache dealing with the office and I’m seriously trying to find another doctor.
F you can choose another clinic do so; they are terrible, two days to get the Dr send prescriptions to the pharmacy. UPDATE. Second day call and have to still waiting for medicacion because the Dr is not at the office. Patient has shingles and is in pain.
Molina Yennifer is very amazing. All of the staffing is super nice. If I could give more stars I would. ️
Staff very friendly and I love my doctor Maria Càceres. Shes very sweet, she's listen carefully and very professional the
way shes taking care
Me and my husband. I give her a 10
Worst doctor I've ever been to. Very disorganized and they have no communication. They messed up all my medications and it took weeks to get refills. Do not go there!
Cano health was my favor but lately service sucks, it take my wife 4 hours to get a prescription corrected because you can talk directly to the doctor secretary at the consultation it is directed to call centers I was promes to get a callback from them, i took me 8 calls and 3 and 1/2 hours to resolve this matter, looking ahead to find another small health center
It's been one year that I took my 94 year-old mother to get dentures everything I've been approved we had about 10 visits the last visit I was told the Dentures were not complete they had to be sized again and never heard back from the office called several times said have no doctor the doctor has left waiting for new doctor the worst service I've ever had
Can I just say how excited I’m about this place, clean and friendly environment, the staff there is so pleasant and caring. I just had dental surgery done March 1st and service and the care they showed was so pleasant that I have recommended my niece and husband to this location in Brandon. I want to thank Dr Amir, and ladies Arlines, Lourdes, Yudelkis and Rosa for their attention of my needs and I am recovering nicely. Thank you so much!
Just moved to the area and was in need of a PCP. This was by far my worse experience! I felt as though the doctor was rushing me out of the exam room without a thorough examination, she wanted me to come back another day to do my labs when it could have been done the same day. It wasn’t until I said I wanted my labs done the same day that she made it happen. Did not feel like the doctor cared enough.
As usually on my recent visit to the Drs office I found the same excellent staff from the front desk to medical assistants to my Dr Ms Caceres all of them always attend to details and to provide the best service and care to the patient
Really recommend Cano Health Brandon to all your medical needs!
This doctor's office is horrible! If there was a way to give zero stars, I would. This office has zero communication amongst the staff and very disorganized. Seems like no one knows what they are doing, and are always lost. Every time I call, no one knows what is going on with my medical file and needs. I faxed over some ER documents yesterday twice. I called several times to confirm receipt of the documents and they were not able to confirm and advised no fax was received. I explained to the medical staff the urgency in the matter, that I need the doctor to authorize a prescription the ER prescribed and my family doctor had to take care of it. I asked the staff to call me when they receive it and I never received a call from the office. Today, I called and receipt of the fax was confirmed, but they never reached out to me to let me know. They have no importance for the health or needs of the patients in their practice. My aunt and mom were both patients at Cano Health and I removed them from Cano's care because of the poor handling of their healthcare. I will also be looking for a new family doctor and removing myself from their care as well. Dr. Vera is my doctor, I have no complaints about the care she has provided when I have been in the office, but when I call the office to speak to her or get some attention or advise from my doctor, I am always told that she is not available and there is no importance from the staff to make sure that my call is handled professionally and with importance. I am very disappointed with this clinic and I have no trust in them handling my healthcare now and in the future. - Michael Velasquez-Villanueva (patient)
Set two appointments, only went to one
Will be finding a new doctor who’s actually attentive an nice.
Was rushed out the room not even checked properly nor given correct care.
Wasn’t given any answers to medical concerns.
Told to schedule a new one an come back cause their lab was “closed” at 1pm
Never given test results
Told my doctor would call an get back to me.
Staff was rude an doctor was very inconsiderate.
Would not recommend for anyone who actually cares bout there health an well being.
I refuse to believe that any rating above 1 star is not a staff member. This office is absolutely awful. The staff clearly have tension and don't communicate so that trickles to the patients - 90+ minute waits, having to ask when you're being called multiple times because no one communicates and this was the final kicker. I tried to look up Dr Yennifer Molinas credentials given the questionable diagnosis and interactions with her. In researching, she is not a doctor. She is a registered nurse (APRN). So no, you will never see a doctor.
