Canopy, Gainesville FL

I have been living here for 2 years and I absolutely love it! Close to campus and surrounded by lots of stores and shopping. Location location location! Who doesn’t love living 5min from the mall! Friendly staff

My daughter has really loved living at Canopy. We haven't had any issues, and the office staff always makes her feel welcomed when she goes in there. Her apartment was clean and ready for move in and her roommate was matched perfectly!

Charge me for 997 dollar for moving out, submitted a request for more details including receipt and record of change for 3 weeks and never received any response, I know three more other apartments having the same issue of being charged for 1k after moving out for each person and never received any updates too, Asked my friend to go to the lease office to ask for information and the response is not their business. Now my friend who live there now is considering moving out as well.

if you have a spare a month of rent to spend here and I guess you can stay here. Other than that please just look at something else, I believed enclave is better and having the same price mark without the 1k move out fee.

Canopy is a very good residence, there is always free food and the people are very friendly, there are many places to enjoy and the gym is very large. The apartments are very well maintained

You will never receive a package on time. You could be god himself in the flesh and the office isn’t giving you your package until they send you the email that you can come pick it up. A package came in today? You will have it by, maybe, your daughters wedding if you're lucky. Driver wants to deliver the package? Nah its going to an agent for final delivery because the office closes at 6. (This means at least 6 more days of waiting) Oh its an important package? I think its important that you practice patience. Oh your tracking number shows the package was delivered? Strip down to your undies and pray by your bedside with a nice peach scented candle next to you that the office will use hydrogen peroxide to melt the gorilla glue off of their chairs to get your mail.

I have been living at Canopy exactly 3 years and have seen many different faces go in and out of the front leasing office. This is the first time I have felt like the workers at the desk actually care about their job and the residents that live here. Trust me when I say I have had many ups and downs living here with different issues, but the newest team has been very kind to me and I know they are trying their best to make Canopy an excellent place to live.

Do not move here. I have lived here for 2 years in 2 different units and the last year especially has been an awful experience. There are so many other apartments closer to campus and in safer areas for the same price. They never clean the property, there are railings missing on most floors, it will take months after move in for them to fix broken appliances and issues with the apartment that should have been resolved prior to move in. Not to mention we had no working ethernet as they never bothered to fix it for our whole lease, and we also moved into fleas, which cost us thousands of dollars for both our dogs. The pool is always dirty and the gym equipment is broken and outdated. The area around the apartment is also sketchy and unsafe, and the apartment doesn’t do much about homeless people wandering the parking lots. My roommate and I were charged $2,000 for issues with the apartment that were already there upon move in, and the manager took 2 months to finally even respond to us. Not worth the stress, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

I was impressed with the size of the room, the walk in closet, double door fridge with the ice maker all what I was currently seeking but I was more impressed with the front staff workers who allowed me to explain what I wasn’t looking for an what I was looking for. I loved how they worked together to get me answers to my many questions.

HORRIBLE STAFF.they will make you pay the full month of rent in august but you only get 12 days of the month (MOVE IN AUGUST 18). When i asked about prorated rent the assistant leasing manager got aggressive and hung up on me.stay away from nasty people like this.

Love these apartments, the staff is very helpful. Thank you to Destiny and Aaliyah they answered every question I’ve had, can’t wait to move in soon

Lashun is awesome, she was able to work with me and answer any questions I had regarding move in for my grandson. Chloe also made me feel comfortable on my tour and was very informative The staff as a whole is very nice and first impressions speaks volumes. Thanks guys.

Just toured the property. It has great lounge, gym and an amazing pool. The staff was very nice and helpful.

I was looking to move into a new apartment in 2022 and I'm the type of person when something important comes to my attention like "end of my lease", I take action at the very last minutes. Canopy came in clutch making swift measures when moving in.

Canopy is one of the nicest and decent pricing housing areas in Gainesville! Great location, great amenities, and great management team!

I absolutely love my apartment, and my personal favorite thing about the entire complex is the beautiful areas to walk my dog, i feel that I truly am able to take him for amazing walks and prioritize his mental health as well as mine while living here and that is so so important to me.
