Cantina Louie, Ponte Vedra Beach FL

Today we had such an amazing experience that I had to leave a review. Kathy was our server and excellent service is an understatement! From the moment we sat down her smile and customer service service skills left my husband and I in awe.
We both ordered the parrilla and it was very tasty. The meats were juicy and tender. My strawberry margarita was great! Dessert was very good we ordered churros.congratulations on having such an amazing server! We will definitely be back!

My family and I have been long time Cantina Louie customers ever since they opened in St Augustine. We visited this location for lunch and were decently satisfied with the service. However, a few days later we returned for dinner and everyone on staff gave us dirty looks and acted as if we were intruders in their little world. The waiter (sleeve tattoos on one arm short long hair) was very standoffish and acted as if everything we ordered was bizarre barely checked on us and had other staff deliver our food while he was very kind to other guests around us. I have no idea why we were treated so poorly I’ve literally done nothing to offend anyone there. Everyone working there seems very unhappy to be doing their job, at least on the evening shift. I feel bad for subjecting my wife and son to this experience.

This is undoubtedly the WORST experience I have ever encountered in recent memory. To start off with upon entering the hostess seemed put out that I was there and wanted to be seated. Never smiled or greeted me or my family. The place was virtually empty at the time. She then proceeds to take us to an obviously dirty table, when there were plenty of what I assumed clean tables all around us. As I stood there the hostess took a napkin from the holder and wiped food off the table which landed at my feet. My request for someone to please wipe the table off was met with silence. As my wife went to set a menu down she says "don't set that there the table's dirty". It's alright for me to set at a dirty table but don't get the menu dirty. At this point the hostess walked back to the front. I told my wife let's sit at a different table. We moved to a different table and there was food crumbs on the napkin dispenser. At this point I had enough and told my family to leave. My wife says good bye to the hostess. Once again we were met with a blank stare. Not once did she ask what happened or why are you leaving. Obvious to me she didn't give a rat's behind about it and probably was glad we left. I will never darken the doors of this restaurant again and I drive by it at least 8 times a week. I will go hungry first. I do wish I had taken notice of her name so I could give her due credit. My advice is to steer clear of this place and try out the pizza joint that's right there. In case you're wondering what I did after that. Well, I drove all the way to Jacksonville to find a decent Cantina Louie to eat at. As a side note I wrote the cooperation headquarters twice and received no response. I guess they don't give a rat's behind about good customer service either.

One Hot Surfer Girl and a Avocado grilled chicken dinner and a gigantic chicken Burrito. Outstanding food. Sorry no pictures.

I am critical when it comes to food so I can honestly tell you that this place is spot on with their quality. I ordered three separate tacos (Surf & Turf, Sunny Side Up, Hot Surfer Chick) and the flavors paired perfectly! Great temp on the food and quick service after placing my order. I would definitely recommend and will be returning to this location. Thank you!

Service was great. Jordan is a great waitress. I had the Torta with Al Pastor and a side of guacamole. Sandwich was overpriced $16 but did come with fries. Quacamole was a large amount around $9 did my best to finish that.

Mind you we came in at 815 pm and they close at 9 but that should not be a reason for bad service! The waitress acted as if she was bothered that we were there. The food was horrible… I had the pastor taco - nothing about it was al pastor the taco meat was way over cooked and dry. I also had the grouper taco… Wow, that fish tasted really bad! My husband ordered a carnitas chimichanga and it had a huge, and I mean huge, piece of fat inside … completely disappointed in this place. My husband order a second beer at 8: 53 and the waitress said she couldn’t get him one as they had last call at 845 pm but at no point did she or anyone else announce last call (she did at least bring him another beer after he complained.) Ugh overall a really bad experience. To the manager in charge … train your servers to be more polite and customer service oriented.the first customer should be treated the same as the last customer. I will never EVER come back to this place and I do not recommend!

Cool place. Good location. Close to Nocatee. Very fast food service. Bar area is fun and this place has a good atmosphere Great drink specials. The 1862 marg is awesome. Super fast service. My Bartender Chelsea was very nice and did a great job

My wife and I stopped in after a long day of house hunting. We picked Cantina Louie based on the reviews. We were very glad we did! The atmosphere was amazing, the staff was professional and friendly, the margaritas were on point, and the food was legit. My wife and I ordered 4 specialty tacos, queso dip which came in a massive bowl, street corn and margaritas. The provided chips and salsa had great flavor too. This will definitely be a regular spot for us.

It took about 10 minutes for someone to greet the table. Servers kept walking by and looking until one nice young lady asked if I had been helped. Once I ordered everything came out very fast, like within a few minutes fast. Food was very good. I ordered the SoCal Avocado Chicken (spicy), 1862 marg's were 5.99, and the sopapillas were good (need a larger portion).

Update: I went back here recently and the service started out great then went downhill. The server dropped the check on the table in the middle of dinner and said she could take it when I was ready and walked away. I didn't ask for the check. I never saw her after that. Another server came up and asked me if the other girl told me that she had to leave, um ok, noo, she didnt say anything. So anyway, someone else took over and this girl was very aburpt and rushed us. Some of the servers did not have their long hair pulled back at all, practically hanging in the dishes they carried. I work in the food business and you must put your hair back. Where's the manager? No idea! It's a shame because I really like the food. I may consider getting take out next time but really not sure.

My usual complaint with places these days is its way too loud. But can't do anything about it so enjoy the margaritas!

We ordered Cantina Louie through Grub Hub and paid $60 for our meal. Grub Hub delivers and we open the bags and it’s the wrong order. It’s one entree. Called the Grub Hub guy and he explained they show their order to the restaurant and the restaurant hands them the food. So Cantina Louie gave the driver the wrong order. Long story short, called CL and they took no responsibility and basically told us we were out of luck. Now I’m at home with 2 hungry kids and still have to figure out dinner.

Meh.wasn't horrible, but it wasn't anything memorable either. They were completely full with a wait, so obviously somebody thinks it's pretty good, just not me!

This location is newer and much easier to get into than the one in downtown. If you are out towards Nocatee on US 1, this is a good stop. The décor is the same as the original and the food is just as good. Can't go wrong with the Sunrise Burrito.

Fast and friendly service. Very clean. Very happy with the quality and presentation of our meals. Server was attentive but not bothersome.

Food was decent and came put quickly but service was not very good. After our food was dropped off our waitress walked past our table about 15 times checking on every other table before ever stopping to see if we needed anything and by then we were ready to leave.
