Cantina Louie (Palm Coast, FL) reviews
16I really enjoy this place. I always get a couple of different street tacos. They’re great.
Cool place for Mexican food.drinks and chips and guacamole was great.especially since I was just visiting
I went for lunch with a friend. I like the decor. Service was pretty good. Seated immediately, drinks were served in a reasonable amount of time. The jalapeño margaritas were very good. Food was good. Prices were average. I had a nice time and decent meal, but aside from the jalapeño margaritas, I didn't find anything outstanding about the visit. I'd go there again.
Was given lunch special menus.however, was told that it is only good for Sundays when we ordered from it.but for a few $$ more they could make it work.
The Tacos were a rare dollar size.very greasy.almost inedible.lots of great rice and refried beans…beans are cheap.rice is cheap.meat is not!
Did Nigerians buy this franchise? …
A cozy place, super friendly workers, efficient, delicious food, I invite you to visit it with family or friends, everything is fabulous
First time at this location, Staff and service were great, but the Mahi taco I had was not so good. Almost the consistency of Jerky. Everything else we ordered was really good.
The location is easy to access, the decor is very entertaining, the staff is very accommodating and friendly. However, the food was a little bland for my personal taste, but that's not to say it was bad because it wasn't; my kids loved it. Overall, the experience was enjoyable.
This Cantina Louie's is located on Palm Coast near Old King rd, east of I-95.
We went on a Tuesday because they have a 2.99 special, called Taco Tuesday. I ordered 2 tacos, an Americana and a surf and turf. Both were very good.
Our waitress looked very young but good.
Cantina Louie's has a unique theme that you have to see with your own eyes because pictures won't to it justice.
Overall, I recommend Cantina Louie's, especially on a Tuesday
Fantastic food and service! Our NEW favorite Mexican restaurant in Paml Coast. We will be regulars.
We ordered the nacho cheese dip. We wanted some ground beef added. We got a lot of grease and a bit of meat. The waitress showed the manager and he blew it off. Bye bye.
I was disappointed in the service here. Our waitress was overly attentive. I’ve never experienced a waitress asking to take my food while still eating it. The food was okay but not worth coming back.
The place is beautiful. The server was nice, but didn’t pay much attention to us. Food—-not great, then tried to charge us for sour cream and cheese.weird Management move.
Very clean, attentive staff with a pleasant approach, food came "hot" don't touch the plate, chips were high quality with delicious red sauce, the entre was a sufficient size for a normal person with an appetite, and as a person who grew up in California and owns a home in Mexico, I know Mexican food. The food here is a good rendition of Mexican food designed for the American palate. The only puzzle is the decor with all the skeleton faces. Wouldn't be my choice, after all, I'm trying to enjoy my meal. I'm sure there's background for the decision, I just haven't taken the time to search the history of it.
Thanks for reading.
Second visit to this particular location and it didn't disappoint. Had mexican esquite (sweet corn kernals in a cream sauce) as appetizer, which is half-price on Saturdays. It was more watery and less creamy/thick than I expected but still tasty.
I had a burrito bowl (gluten-free) with shredded chicken, Spanish rice and black beans, also delicious. I had to take half home because it was such a large portion. Had steak fajitas the first time there, and my recollection is that it was comparable to fajitas elsewhere, nothing super special or different about them. My friend had the Cantina Louie salad with steak, and she said it was also delicious (she finished it). Great ambiance, good service, good food for the price. Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.
First time here. Got the steak fajitas. Was not all that happy with the fajitas and they refunded my money. So they do stand behind their food and didnt harass me about it. Maybe the chicken will be better.
