I flew my kite here last night with real live racing flames on it's wings! It was a great view from miles away and a real blast of a time! I almost set the roof of the Launch Complex 46 Restaurant on fire, but no worries "the roof is NOT on fire"!

Astra first Space Coast NASA launch today! Should be great views from Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral beaches.

Very unique and awesome place to eat. Cool elevator up to the capsule. Great view from top and comfortable space suits. Once we made orbit we were given freeze-dried apples as an appetizer. The drink menu consisted of water in a tiny straw. The waiter snapped at me for spilling my drink. In my defense, nobody told me there was no gravity at this restaurant. It does have a unisex bathroom, but lacks privacy. We dined with some friendly Russian cosmonauts who spoke great english. Overall great experience and friendly staff.

I too, enjoy the cleanliness of this launch pad. My wife and I appreciate all of the recent upgrades including the new foliage and wildlife. Although my rocket isn't fully operational, I hope one day to get past the Lego prototype stage. Our CEO Buzz Lightyear is confident we have a future exploring space and landing our stages on our drone ship, "To infinity and back. "

PS Please refill the snack machines.
Thanks KSC

This will be an incredible launch view from Cocoa Beach once the pad is completed and in use. Very close and sits way out to the east for an unobstructed view.

I really like this launch platform. I’m able to take my rocket over, most anytime, and get a convenient launch window.
The staff is very friendly and they have a nice snack shop you can use while waiting for your rocket to get prepped.
I often meet other space travelers coming to and from Earth and we can share our favorite travel stories.
I will definitely use Launch Complex 46 again!
Thanks Cape Canaveral!
