You can feel 100% confident as a consumer that Capitol carpet will provide you with excellent service from selection to installation.
I would not think about any other company for my flooring needs.
Great going Capitol

We purchased motorized pleated shades for a bay window in our bathroom. Leslie advised us as to what kind we needed in order to prevent spaces between each section. When they were installed, there were spaces! Spoke to Leslie about the issue and she agreed it shouldn’t be that way and would call me back…. That’s the last I heard

My experience at Capitol Carpet and Tile was excellent. The staff (especially Kevin) was extremely helpful and professional. The installers did a wonderful job and I am very happy with the outcome. I highly recommend this place!

We are very happy with our window treatments, they are really nice and look great, especially in the bedroom. However, our experience was not without a few issues. Our living room window solar shades were supposed to be installed with valances to cover the roller part of the shades. When the installer came, he did not have them, and it turned out they were never ordered. The installer measured for them, the order was placed, and when they came in, EVERY ONE of them was the wrong size. We received a call from Capitol Carpet that day or maybe the next day, and they suggested it was WE that had measured incorrectly. I was astonished - the person on the phone was trying to push off a mistake by their employee to us, and I let them know that, in no uncertain terms, it was their error. So the windows were re-measured, by Capitol Carpet, for the valances. When those came in they fit, but they are not consistent in how they cover the openings - but it is not all that noticeable, so we let it go. Additionally, the shades in the living room were supposed to be controlled by one wireless remote, but the remote supply did not have enough channels, so now we need 2. The bedroom window covering was supposed to come with rechargeable batteries, but it came with replaceable batteries. This was corrected. However, all of this took nearly 9 months. We had not paid in full, there was an outstanding balance, so we were not concerned about getting the valances, but we did receive a call looking for payment, telling us we had an outstanding balance. When I explained why, the woman said she would check into that and call me back. She never called back so I assume she learned of our issues. We will be needing carpeting, and while I would go to Capitol Carpet, I will make sure they are aware of the issues with the windows.

We ordered carpeting from Capitol. Kevin and Nick ensured we got the carpeting we wanted, oversaw installation and were accessible to us during the entire time.

Best possible experience from start to finish. Nick Riggio III did an awesome job helping us pick the best product for us. All scheduled times were met & exceeded, from measuring to Joe handling the installation. Also the actual square footage was a bit lower than estimated & Nick adjusted our final bill. Highly Recommend!

After having a not so inviting experience in the Wellington location we decided to give a second chance and went to the one in Delray. Had a better experience at the beginning. We were having 2 bedrooms and a master bedroom done. The salesman Nick pretty much sold us on that everything would be done right. They sent someone to do measurements and estimate the job. After picking everything out we setup the appointment to have it done. Understandably they require 50% of payment for the material floor which was paid at the store. They were scheduled for a Monday to show up. On a Saturday, 2 days before they showed up to do any work the other 50% was charged on credit card. Never had to pay full for a job before anything was even done, which is a red flag, but ok. After reading the fine print it says 24 hours prior they would do this. Should’ve caught that. The crew of 3 shows up Monday morning. Very polite. They get straight to work moving the couple heavy furniture left in the rooms and pulling carpet. The crew ended stopping and assessed the rooms. We somewhat over heard them concerning their concerns to their management. They called their superior Jose who couldn’t be at this job at the time. Told him. Jose then called Ron. Ron called up Nick. Nick said this new product doesn’t need padding that you just lay it. To go ahead and just do the job. At this point we were never asked or told about irregularities or floor preparations required or suggested. Important to note. They knocked the floor out quickly the same day. Good crew. After the job was done we went to each room to look over the work and voice any concerns because we were told that day is the day to do it. We found a few things wrong. From gaps between the floor and baseboard. To bulges and dips when walking. Like there was a hole you’re stepping into. Then after pointing out the job wasn’t don’t correctly took a couple weeks for an appt for them to come out. After talking to Ron we were told it would be fixed. When the workers showed up they told us that Ron told them different. Ron was told by Nick not to touch the floors to only fill the gaps between the baseboard and floors. This time around one of the crews was Jose who seemed very knowledgeable. After going back and fourth with a few calls they were only authorized to the gaps. Which I understand you have to listen to your boss. At the end talking to Jose he said if he was personally here that day of install he wouldn’t have laid the floors down because he knew the work wouldn’t come out good and would have to go back to pull it all off. We were told we would have to take it up with Nick. We emailed Nick pictures and the work that needed to be fixed. To sum up all the emails that went back and forth Nick every single email pushed the blame on us. And said we would have to pay the hourly rate to remove the floor and re install them. And the padding that is needed. We told him just back their work up and just fix the master bedroom up, because it’s the worst, and forget the other 2 rooms. The last email I sent him was a picture of THEIR contract highlighting a certain part of the contract proving he was in the wrong and now he has not responded back. Go figured. Nick is a real piece of work. We now have to take matters up with a different part of their department and having to have a representative ready at hand for the next step.

We ordered ceramic tile, carpeting and also "deluxe vinyl tile" from Nick at Capital on Linton. We floored 2 different 900+ square foot condos. We had some initial timing issues. We had picked out "in stock" items for one condo, wanting to get that job finished quickly. We did wait longer then expected, but the job was done. I was not a fan of the "transitions" from vinyl tile to carpeting. The "transition's" were not not initially glued down well and they were popping off. The crew came and fixed these things, they had to come twice, but I I think its good now. I give 4 stars for the first job. For the 2nd job, I give them 5 stars. The tile guys did a fabulous job and were so nice. They finished the tile work, and then came the carpeting. These guys were also Pros! The carpeting in both condos is awesome. They give a nice padding with all jobs. Lots of products to choose from. ANNNNND, I was a real witch the whole time and Nick and the owner were nice to me and worked all problems out and never expressed what they were probably thinking during one of my irate phone calls to them. I would definitely use them again!

We worked twice with Capitol Carpet & Tile for window treatments and were extremely pleased about the customer service, the installation, and the product quality.

Leslie consulted us with our needs and guided us with the right solution for our first project. Once installed, we approached the second project as we were happy with the results. We installed a combination of zebra shades and a darkening shades, some motorized and some manual. All work really well.

Installation was done clean, quick, and professionally. Communication throughout the entire project was great.

Highly recommend Capitol Carpet & Tile for any type of windows treatment.
