Capri Pizza & Pasta reviews
14Omg best place for steak subs in the world! Their pizza is stellar! Been begging them for years to move to plant city. Please go to Capri. You won’t be sorry
Nothing fancy just good food! Great little pizza & pasta restaurant. Wife had the stuffed shells, I had a small stromboli. Pasta and the sauce were perfect and the small stromboli was stuffed full with three different meats. In fact I'm a big guy and could only get through half of a small stromboli. Staff is extremely friendly and our server was very attentive. Especially with our 7 yr old grand daughter who wanted her chicken fingers extra crispy. She gave the chicken two up. Pizzas coming out of the oven looked delicious we will go back to try one.
We have been ordering from here for the last year. Quality and customer service has gone down hill. Two weeks ago we ordered and received a pizza full of grease (soaked through the box) and trashed from the delivery ride. When called, they pointed fingers at "Slice" the 3rd party delivery service. How Slice would be responsible for a sub par cooked pizza is beyond me but let's discuss how they handled the situation.
They said it's "out of their control" and that I would have to contact Slice. Ok. I did. Slice argued and pointed fingers at them and then finally issued a partial refund.a partial refund on two pizza's we never ate. We threw them away.
I called the store back and explained and they told me they would take down my name and add store credit for the two pizzas to make up for the mishap, our lost dinner, and my wasted time dealing with this. Great! Or so I thought!
I just called them, two weeks later to use the store credit. They put me on hold, came back and then said because I got partial credit back from Slice the manager was not going to honor their previous deal.
So to sum it up, if you order from them, you will get sub par pizza, sub par service and lies. It's a shame because they USED to be the best pizza in town, we told everyone about them. We ordered from them on average of twice a month. What a shame. Pizza lovers beware.
TLDR: Greasy pizzeria run by liars.
Arrived at 830 to dine in. Was then told they're closed for dine in. Yet hours shown online say open until 9. You should change your hours online to reflect that you're closed at 830 so it is not misleading and don't have to send your customers away.
Stopped in Friday nite to pickup 2 orders of lasagna and a medium pepperoni pizza. Both hot, fresh made, by an Italian family, that takes great pride in their food. Tasty and affordable. It don’t get no better!
I was enjoying Capri Pizza for awhile, but lately the last two times I have ordered their margherita pizza it has looked like this - a soggy mess of watery sauce and cheese. Not sure it’s worth going back anymore.
Edit: Gee, what a genuine personalized response from [your name] at Capri Pizza. Lol yeah ok…
Been here around 4 times now, 5* experience every time. Love all the pizza I’ve had and the garlic knots. Service is great too, everyone seems helpful and chill here
Excellent New York style pizza, great crispy crust! Had the lunch 2 slice special and an Italian salad. Kids loved the cheese pizza.
Ordered delivery. 2 subs one eggplant parm and one sausage with cheese. The eggplant had only three small slivers of eggplant some sauce and some mozzarella. All bread. The sausage with cheese, I’ve had more sausage on a personal size pizza and the cheese I don’t know what kind of cheese it was but it was horrible. Will never order from here again. Doesn’t even deserve one star.
Really good. Local pizza place. Picked up pizza and wings for Superbowl. Ready on 15-20 minutes. Definitely recommend.
Had a calzone. "Large" size. It was easily enough for 2 people. Tasted awesome. Served fresh and hot. Free refills are great as well.
I randomly discovered Capri pizza on my Doordash runs. The pizza is incredible and you can really taste the fresh ingredients. The crust is light and and not overly doughy. They do get very busy and it can take longer then quoted to get your pizza but it's worth it.
Super nice people working there.
Pizza was perfect we got thin crust this time. Had a lot of fun with the kids
