I used to enjoy the noodles, but I had it tonight and it was some lesser quality, very thin noodle. Lost me as a customer with the change. Too bad

Food is good. I got the chicken wings, which was a little disappointing in the value. $12 for 6 small bone in wings. $2/wing is a little bit much. The food my family got was good and what you'd expect from a Disney resort.

Capt. Cook’s is a quick serve restaurant located at the Polynesian Resort. If you are staying here, this is the closest and cheapest place to get breakfast. The vibe is very similar to the rest of the resort: Some hardwood with bamboo walls. The service was inattentive and got our order wrong.

The food here is subpar. My bounty platter had a lot of variety, but my French toast was gross and the biscuit was hard. However, I enjoyed the scrambled eggs. This really feels like you walked out of a McDonald’s once you walk out. Overall, would only eat here if you are staying at the resort.

We always grab a bite to eat here before heading out to see the fireworks. The pulled pork nachos are delicious.

Great food but be sure to use Mobile order, usually there is only one cast member taking orders so if anything goes wrong the line goes out the door.

I would love to give this place 5 stars because honestly, the food was good.once we finally got it 52 minutes after we ordered. Food shouldn't take that long in a quick service environment.

We had allergy requests which the CM ringing us up did not grab a Chef, but she did show us the allergy friendly menu. We had follow up questions on some of the ingredients and her response was that she didn't know. There was no offer to get additional information so we just didn't go with that option. We put in our order. She even called for a manager to help her put in the order on the computer.

It took about 25 minutes for us to get the order (but we assumed it was due to allergy request), just for the order to be completely wrong and we had to go back and wait the same amount of time all over again to get the correct meal. Nothing was offered or done to correct our inconvenience.

The items in the bakery case were also mislabeled or not labeled at all which isn't good for allergies.

As we were eating our meal, a girl kept walking up to tables asking if a to go food order in a bag was that table's order. The guy next to us even commented that they were crazy. It was obvious that this location was disorganized and not communicating properly.

We told two different cast members, including the manager, at Guest Services about the issues and they said they'd pass along the message to the food & beverage team but that there was nothing they could do because we weren't guests of the hotel and it's a different system.

We were extremely disappointed overall.

Visited on Saturday Dec 10th. We had maybe a 10-15 minute wait for our food and we got a table right away. They changed the recipe for the meatballs and rice. Meatballs are much spicier but the coconut rice is amazing! Dole Whip is right around the corner

Pulled pork nachos is a huge portion. My husband and I shared for lunch. It's messy but good!

Horrible experience. Ordered our food (1 cheese burger & French fry) that took over 25 minutes to fill. Staff didn’t seemed bothered. Tons of people had ordered the same combo for their children after us and we just stood in the lobby with no direction or sense of aptitude from the staff. They were to busy breaking down the kitchen and closing up to be bothered with a cheese burger for a kid.

Captain Cooks is a great Quick Service location at the Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World. I only rated it four stars because quick service food is not necessarily a five-star dining experience, but it was good.

The food we ordered was good. The menu was very limited. The seating inside felt cramped, there was more space outside

This was our breakfast lifeline each morning. We didn’t have any reservations anywhere, so this cafe was our go-to. They have a small menu to select from, but a large assortment of self-serve food and drink items.

Great for family with young kids. Very casual and nothing glamorous. Not a lot of menu items to choose from.
