Captain D's, Palatka FL

First time here, and I guess I just had higher expectations. Yea yea, fast food and all. Still should resemble the pictures, and be fully edible. Parts of our meal were great, some undercooked and some overcooked. It wasn't late evening, so no excuse for rushing it out.

Love the food. Staff very courteous. Very quick to make and serve food. Didn't have to wait long at all.

Everything's wonderful except I wish their portions were a little bit bigger on the fish

Food was just ok. Service was a little slow. Place was priced as expected for a beach restaurant.

We love to visit this Captain D's when we go shopping. Very clean, good food and friendly service. The manager is almost always there and he is very friendly!

My wife was skeptical about ordering from here recently due to the last time a year ago or longer, they served her some mushy, mostly raw fish. She wasn't 1000 % elated this time either, but atleast the meal wasn't raw. She used to love Captain D's, but this location has almost turned her away from even the Starke location. Hope you get properly cooked food in your order (s)!

The fish sandwich was large the people are friendly the place was clean the price was right

Went through the Drive-thru for supper, but didn't want fried food. The other half and I decided on Grilled Salmon Dinners with cole slaw and steamed broccoli. We got them "Regular" seasoned. The fish was cooked to perfection. Cole slaw was great, and the broccoli was done correctly. It wasn't raw and crunchy, but not overcooked mush either (they could probably cook it longer for those with dental/digestive issues, if requested). We were served quickly and professionally by a lovely young lady with a great attitude (especially since it was almost closing time). It was a little pricey for fast food at $11 a meal (plus tax) but very much worth it. We will definitely be returning. Our only complaint: Drinks are not included with the meals, and are $3 for a large. That's ok though, the rest of the experience made up for that.

My friend and I went to Captain D's last evening. Neither one of us had ever been there. Right from the start it was a very pleasurable experience. From the gals behind the counter to the gentleman making sure the atmosphere was extra clean. He followed that up with did anyone need anything. He had a great sense of humor so my friend asked for something they didn't have and then I asked for a mclaren. He was so funny and just an all-around great guy. If I could give it 10 Stars. I will absolutely be back. The food was more than we expected. Everything was perfect from entrance to exit.

Serice was slow from the cooks, was shorted a piece of fish in each meal, had to tell to fill sides that came with meals

I ordered online.but I was way early. The manager couldn't find the order but used my phone receipt and went ahead and filled it. Awesome service!

Been years since I've been, 5stars! Everything was perfect and the sweet tea was delicious. Kick myself for not getting the jalapeno poppers. Thank you!

Visited the restaurant in Palatka Florida today. It is a newer restaurant and very clean. The staff inside were all very nice and helpful. The best thing of all was the food, I had the 2 piece fish dinner, as always the fish was delicious. As always it was fresh and a good quality meal and a very fair price.

Always clean always fresh cooked. Live this place definitely one of the best fast food places in try county area!
