Stopped by here while doing some relief work in the area, Jeff was very helpful and had everything we were looking for! He can tie knots like no other! Enjoyed listening to all of his “tricks” when reeling in a big catch, and can’t wait to put them all to use!

Stopped in today for some hooks and leader for shark fishing. Not only did Jeff help me get the proper gear but helped me tie and prepare my shark rig. Super friendly and full of knowledge. Will definitely stop back when in the area.

Good selection of lures and frozen bait.
The gentleman was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the fishing spots in the region. He even took the time out of his day to point out the spots on a maps for us and explain seasonally why some were better than others. He then proceeded to explain to us what baits are working best and what baits to upgrade to for larger fish.
We visited around 10: 00 on 3/18/21 and will definitely return if in the region again.

Ok so lm a snowbird i came down here with no gear and no knowledge of how to fish these waters or what to fish for. Came into captain Ted's about 1 hour before closing on a Friday Jeff the owner was busy trying his best to work with me and taking care of other costumers. It was closing time he stayed for 2 hours after closing teaching me how to tie knots and fixing me up with gear. He went way above and beyond to help me.and not only that he meet me the next morning at the pier to show me techniques

Captain Ted's Tackle is the best place to go. Just moved to area and he talked to us about everything. Showed us new tackle, lures, poles. I highly recommend going there if you need or want fishing stuff! This will be my go to place for a very long time. And we just bought a bridge net! I love this tackle store! Jeff is 10 times the fisherman that I am and he is more than willing to share quality tips! Today he set me up with what I needed to fish off the beach in Venice. Great guy and great service. Support the local small stores people.
