Coming from an old school. This place is truly tremendous. Blake our server was on point, and on synch with the whole process. The lasagna, Salad, wedding soup, all was exceptionally great, will Mos Def be back next time I'm in town

Very good and glad wait staff wore masks and we were seated away from others. Great food! And staff!

Bought a bottle of wine from a shakey bartender. Told it was good wine. Paid $30. Went home and found out it was a Kiel Shop $7 dollar bottle. Shame on me. Wow. Won’t be back.

Local farm to table, can't beat fresh.unless you pair it with creativity and an obvious joy in food! The atmosphere is so interesting and the wait staff was and has always been first rate. Top tier Sarasota restaurant definitely

Food was better than some Italian places, my group mates said pizza was ok. Prices were fair. Service was good.

Locally owned great family and great staff. One of the best restaurants in downtown Sarasota. Whether dinner with the wife of with the whole family it's a great time

This was amazing! Never had anything better. Great staff, very well-mannered and polite. Best Italian restaurant ever. Definetely recommend the Spaghetti, Chicken Parmigiana, and Tortellini Ala Vodka. A must have! From Illinois and has the best Vodka sauce ever. Service was attentive and everything was perfect!

This was an amazing dinner we had this evening. Red snapper with shrimp, mussels and risotto. Never had anything like it and I’ve been in many 5 star restaurants. Manager Brian was very cordial and the wait staff so prompt and

This is the Best Italian food we have had in years everything we had was excellent. I had the Chicken Parm and this is NOT pre package chicken patties they pounded and breaded all homemade the sauce the pasta I could not get enough. Everyone at our table agree that there meal was excellent and we will be returning to dine again. If you are undecided where to eat in downtown Sarasota then you have to give this place a try you will be pleased you did.

Amazing new find! We had the Tortellini al la Vodka. Oh My Goodness! Had i known we would no have shared and had two orders. We will definitely be back.

If you.like Italian food, this is the place to go. Friendly staff and priced Right menu. Full liquor bar with an extensive wine list. You can't go wrong.

Good Italian food, great service (especially Julie).

They start you off with an amazing basket of fresh warm bread that has a tomato/pizza sauce on it.

Tried the following:

Calamari - won't recommend it (dry and thin)
Pizza (sausage/pep/onions) - awesome
Tortelloni a la vodka - awesome
Cannelloni - awesome

Since we didn't enjoy/finish the calamari they removed it off our bill. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

I was there for a private function in the morning, as I've been often, and they always put out a wonderful buffet and make the group feel welcome. I've also been here for dinner in the past, and it's been great. Nice atmosphere and tasty entrees!

Food and service was amazing! Our server was Katherine, she was really sweet and attentive. Definitely recommend this place and Katherine!

If your looking for authentic Italian food, this is your place! Great atmosphere and even better people and service! We drove over an hour and was not disappointed!

Food was great, music and most of staff. I the bartender with the thick 70's mustache yelled at one of the lady bartenders and then threw something at her. He was being a really jerk the entire night. I think management should look into this matter.

Our favorite spot in Sarasota the food, service and ambiance is excellent! May I recommend our server Julie who is amazing and always makes us feel at home. I am a bit reluctant to write this review as I do not want to many people to discover this gem and our favorite server Julie!

One of my favorite places in Sarasota - The Pizza, The Eggplant Parm, The Chopped Salad and THE BREAD is off the chart good!

Number one on my list for italian american. It really is just that. Don't get expecting flavors from your super cool and unknown shack in the cinque terra region, go for the excellent service, atmosphere, and comfortable, familiar tastes.
