7CareerSource is a place beyond spectacular! I received the best customer service since the first phone call, the specialist help you 100% with everything. The staff is kind and respectful. The facilities are clean, well equipped, and pretty. The specialists are knowledgeable and if they promise to call you for a follow-up they kept their promises. I got the financial help that I was looking for my education. I recommend CareerSource 100% because I am a 100% satisfied customer!
I sought out career source so I could could recieve assistance for a career transition. I applied several times but it wasn't until I walked into the corporate office months later and spoke face to face with the program manager that I was finally connected with someone. Despite all that, I was told I would hear back from my person just for her to be completely unresponsive. I wasn't informed of this until I went out of my way to connect to the program manager AGAIN.the 2nd person assigned to me did keep up but tbh I was no longer interested in the program. Very unorganized. I sought assistance from another program instead.
These places have all kinds of programs that receive literally MILLIONS of dollars from the government but they will do NOTHING to help you find work
I visited the center a few days ago, the only unpleasant thing was that when one of the ladies at the reception entered, an older woman with short hair made her laugh a lot because I asked the receptionist to speak to me in Spanish, which I found very unpleasant and unprofessional on their part. Otherwise, the girl at the reception treated me very well, as did the representative to whom my case was assigned, who knew how to respond to my concern. I think that making fun of a person for preferring their language of origin, as long as they have the option, to understand much better, should not be a reason for ridicule, especially in a place where they are supposed to provide help. Sometimes people think that because you prefer Spanish you don't understand some things in English. Be careful what they say.
This is my first time coming to a CareerSource and I recommend this location & its staff members. I came in around 11: 45am and left at 3: 30pm to deal with an unemployment issue. They staff verified my account on one of their laptops and after speaking with a supervisor I was advised I needed to call the unemployment hotline to have my issue resolved. The reason why I was there so long was because this is the only location with (1) phone to communicate with the unemployment hotline directly. There was always a line of people waiting to use the phone ahead of me and the lady in front of me got disconnected and she had to call again. Keep in mind it takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours for someone to pick up the line at unemployment. The wait had nothing to do with CareerSource (they are not affiliated with Unemployment they are simply there to help you apply and get you to the right place). The establishment was well kept and clean, staff were super generous with their help and I was able to get my issue resolved all it took was patience. I definitely recommend this location. Thank you!
Unfortunately I was not well attended since I had to ask everything myself! Terrible customer service. The face of a corporation, a store, a government site is the most important thing, how they treat you, I left just as badly informed as I entered. What the person told me I could have looked for at home and I didn't waste gasoline getting there! He left me on the computer while he went to smoke. Everything he told me was negative, he told me nothing positive, and when I told him what they were doing there he seemed annoyed but at no time did he orient me to the services, I had to ask everything! In short, the attention was very bad. I felt as if my interest was not worth it. Please choose the face of a reception better! Thanks for nothing
